Hotel is standard for Iceland chain hotels. The room doors are hard to close (you can hear all the other guests slamming the doors to try get them to close properly). There is no parking at the hotel, you have to park on the street and it’s metered parking.

We did not like the first room facing the main road and busy when we asked about a quiet room. It was not a 4 star room , basic old fashioned. place is pretty photo accurate and close to a lot of restaurants and bus stops! the tv didn’t work which was a big shame and not a lot of ventilation for the sulfur smell, but overall you get what you pay for. recommended for quick stays but i would not for long term stays
