We were able to walk just about everywhere except for the Perlan. The bus stop was around the corner and the Bonus grocery was a 5 min walk. The apartment looked exactly like the photos and we were able to cook. The people we emailed were great and responsive. Only downside was the elevator which felt like it had seen better days and made my child nervous. Check in was easy (and keyless so one less thing to worry about when out and about) and the location was great as it was a short walk to the Main Street with bars and shops, as well as walkable to most attractions and tour pick up points. The lack of parking wasn’t ideal, but there was a street about a 5 min walk away with free parking which we were always able to get a space on so that was fine. The property was spacious, modern, well equipped and clean, with good views of the sea. It was a good size for the 3 of us, had comfortable beds, was a good temperature and we had a view of the sea! Check-in was super easy with a keypad code to get in the building, the lift and the door of the apartment. Great location for catching the tour buses from stop #9 and easy to walk down the main shopping street for places to eat, the Bonus supermarket and bars etc. The main advantage was the closeness to the Hlemmur Foodhall which had a great selection of dining options. Only problem we had was limited toilet paper, and when we called to ask for more (1.5 rolls for 5 people with 4 nights stay), they advised would be dropped off next morning… and none was ever dropped off.
