The hotel is a block and a half north of the Alameda-the street is directly across from the main Alameda entrance (center of the Alameda) on Zaragoza. From the Central de Autobuses, bus 36 brought us just steps from it. Less than a block north of the hotel the street becomes pedestrians only.
We were in a king bed private room on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel. There are not a lot of rooms to access through there and it is well back from the street, so it was extremely quiet.
The room had wide doorways and hall that appeared wheelchair friendly except for the space between the bed and the walls on either side.
There were 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and a bath mat. Shampoo, lotion, and soap were high grade. Everything was good quality and well maintained-shower, bed, desk with 6 large drawers suitable for clothes, closet with wooden hangers.
They close the old wooden exterior doors at night for extra security.
The only fault in this room was the bed feet that stuck out just a little bit beyond the bed and were not easy to see because both floor and bed feet are dark in color. After tripping a couple times I put something white on the floor near the bed foot. Once I could see out of the corner of my eye that something was there it was not a problem. If I didn't wear shower shoes in hotels I could have broken toes. Be careful.
