Great location, 30 minutes to the airport, 15 minutes to Downtown Queretaro, 5 to 10 minutes to the main highways. Beautiful, spectacular view of the city and surroundings. Breakfast/brunch at the restaurant was great, excellent service, excellent prices: Full buffett for ~$14 USD, a la carte items anywhere between $5 and $10 USD. Sunday brunch was really good.
Rooms are large and well appointed, 65" TV, desk, nice bathrooms, lockbox, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Could not hear the neighboring rooms at all. The pool is nice, but small. Did I mention a beautiful view?
The only negative, more an inconvenience than a demerit, is that if you have prepaid through an online agency like Expedia or Orbitz, they need to put a credit hold on your card (what US hotels call "For Incidentals"), but sometimes they forget to do so at check-in, and that creates a glitch at the restaurant because they do not have an account to charge your bill. No big deal, other than having to go to the desk and get them to open an "Incidentals" account.
Visiting downtown and nearby Peña de Bernal, Tequisquiapan, San Miguel de Allende are all a must, all beautiful places. Downtown is best reached by Uber or taxi, as finding parking on the narrow cobblestone streets is a challenge, but there are lots of hip boutiques, breweries and restaurants to make the trip worth.
