"Would definitely return, lovely pub with local south west ales, cider's, lagers, spirits. Great atmosphere, live music on night we stayed, not to loud and finished at reasonable time so not disturbing guests. Staff were really nice, helpful and approachable, room was clean and well kept, breakfast was relaxed atmosphere and good size portions, continental available as well. Bonus was they would accommodate a motorbike in a safe place with prior notice given. Overall my opinion is this is a great place to stay and definitely going in the right direction from previous ownership. Deserves more star rating than currently has (but think this is from previous rep) would definitely return without hesitation if current staff and owners preside. Harley Al. Cornwall "

"The hotel is in a fantastic position for wookey hole ..unfortunately the gas went down so had to transfer the breakfast over to the restaurant in wookey hole . Alot of the options wernt available..The rooms tbh are very basic and a bit tired. Overall a good stsy "

"Very clean, staff and management were friendly and helpful. The limited parking onsite was full but we parked nearby in a car park for free overnight. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend and stay again!"

"This is a low-cost hotel and thus one does not expect 5-star amenities. However, it represents great value for money. Easy parking, comfortable bed, spacious room, lots of hot water in the bathroom with an old-fashioned shower head that delivers a lot of water (unlike some of these modern miniature nozzles that just trickle a small amount of water). Breakfast is minimal -- just "continental" cold goods -- bread, croissants, cereal, juice, sliced ham and cheese. The beverage machine provides a good variety of coffee and hot chocolate. The staff are friendly and helpful, but be aware there's nobody there after about 10pm so you need to find your way into the lobby at the rear and pick up a phone to get help checking in. "

"A very comfortable spacious room, you couldn't hear any pub noise at all. Being a couple of minutes off of the A303 it was also really quiet traffic-wise. Friendly owner, always available and a nice continental breakfast. "

"Have stayed at Penn Mill many times & definitely wouldn’t stay anywhere else if visiting Yeovil, from friendly staff to great food with lovely clean comfortable rooms what more could anyone ask for! Like home from home which is why we keep returning. Love it "
