Room need renovation!!!
The resort is kind of old and rooms definitely need to be renovated! The landscaping is awesome. The food was very good!!! There was plenty of choice. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The beach is breathtaking, but kind of not suitable for kids. The water is very deep, and the only way little kids can swim is with an adult! The scuba diving team is amazing!!! Very friendly and helpful. Do not waste your time going to a presentation for their club. We spent 2 hours there, listening to Mr. Robinson, whose English needs improvement, and all he was saying is how great Iberostar is and how much we want to go on vacation!!! In my mind he had no clue how to explain the benefits of the club. And as for his Supervisor James... I have never seen a worse salesperson in my life!!!!!!!! After I asked to finally see some pricing he laid 4 pieces of paper in front of me with prices starting from $22,000 to $65,000!!! My reaction "this is way too much!" He took the papers, said good bye and left! LOL Ridiculous!!! If I was the manager, James would be the first to go... followed by Robinson. Overall, I would not go back because of the condition of the rooms, the deep waters, and a few minor details. I have heard very good things about Iberostar, but this resort just doesn't cut it! If you are looking for a cheaper resort with an awesome beach and good food, this is the one! But if you care about the room you stay in, stay away from this resort. Ooooh, and lot's of mosquitoes!!!
