Great resort for the family

Pros: Cleanliness, buffet, employee kindness, drinks, atmosphere.
Cons: Separate restaurants could be improved. We ate at steakhouse and it was so so. Had reservations at Mexican and Japanese places but cancelled.
What a great vacation. Spent a week here and returned yesterday. Food was great. Every employee was kind and gracious and made our stay perfect. Miguel our concierge was awesome, made us feel like royalty. Sobeida, one of the waitresses in buffet was perfect and Drinks were flowing all day, pool and beach were spotless. Entire resort was clean as a whistle. Only issue I can find was the excursion we booked wasn't as specified. We ended up coming back to resort before even getting on boat. Ll in all we will return!!!

Cruise like experience on land

This resort is like taking a cruise but never leaving the port. Plenty of food and entertainment options. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Great hotel to keep you busy

Cons: Food. Photos are over priced.
Location: Great on the beach
We just came back during the Christmas/New Years break. If your like me and get a little antsy sitting on the beach or at the pool all day, this place is for you. They have something for everyone going on all day & night. From mini disco for the kids to afternoon bingo at the pool. The food not so great, as not too many options. I felt like I was eating the same thing in every restaurant.

excellent hotel great grounds with beach and pools

Pros: The staff, the quality of food and the activities available.
Cons: They could provide transportation from the Punta Cana airport.
Location: Located on beautiful well kept and large grounds with water surrounding the walkways. Wonderful aviary having flamingos, ducks and other birds.
The food was very good for an all-inclusive. The staff often went the extra distance one expects of a 5 star hotel. Though most meals are self-serve, the hotel makes available 3 restaurants (reservations required). The best one is Japanese samurai style, the other 2, French and Mexican are quite good. Activities included scuba with some wonderful dives, sailing which had some problems for our group (boats not available as scheduled). The rooms were clean, bright, and comfortable but with the usual poor hotel indoor lighting.

Bellissimo resort sul mare

Pros: Tutto . Se volete un bel posto per rilassarvi è perfetto anche per le famiglie con bambini. Ottimo il servizio wifi gratuito e illimitato.
Cons: La gestione della spiaggia e dei lettini.
Location: il resort è sul mare con una bella spiaggia privata. Ho fatto solo l'escursione all'isola di Saona che consiglio decisamente.
E' un bellissimo resort sul mare con un magnifico giardino pieno di piante fiori e uccelli esotici. Tutta la struttura è ben tenuta curata e pulita con personale sempre disponibile e sorridente. L'animazione pur presente e attiva non è invadente per cui chi , come me, vuole soprattutto rilassarsi è perfetta : se volete partecipate altrimenti relax. La cucina è discretamente varia con prodotti di qualità anche al buffet, buona pasticceria e frutta varia sempre fresca. Dei quattro ristoranti a tema (su prenotazione) da segnalare El colonial (consiglio l'aragosta sublime) e il giapponese per qualità e spettacolo(teppanyaki): steakhouse e messicano sono normali. Per la spiaggia si incontra qualche difficoltà a trovare lettini dopo una certa ora ma stavano aggiungendo palapas (ombrelloni di legno e foglie intrecciate) per risolvere almeno parzialmente il problema. Comunque scordatevi le prime file se non allungate la mancia agli addetti..... Da segnalare il bar sul mare ( al faro) dove il barista Yan prepara a getto continuo cocktail e quello che volete per ore sempre col sorriso e la battuta : ottima immagine per il resort. Frigo in camera sempre rifornito e wifi gratis e illimitato in tutta la struttura con discreta velocità.

Tolle Hotelanlage, gut gepflegt !

Pros: Mit Abstand die beste Tauchbasis an der ich seit langem getaucht bin.Top staff, freundlich, gut ausgebildet und interessante Tauchspots, inkl. Wrack !
Cons: Zimmer, Buchung der a la carte Restaurants und Verbindlichkeit des Personals. Man kennt die Dommies. Mit ein bisschen mehr Training wäre hilfreich.
Eine Woche Iberostar Hacienda. Sehr schöne , geschmackvoll angelegte Hotelanlage. Schöne Swimmingpools, schöner Strand. Alles bestens. Die Zimmer halten da nicht mit. Wenige Zimmer mit Meerblick und die gebuchte Junior Suite wäre maximal ein deluxe room, aber keine Suite. Auch die Zimmerausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das trübt das Bild etwas, ist aber immer noch in Ordnung. Aber als Alleinreisender war mir das Zimmer eher egal. Hätte ich mehr Zeit darin verbracht wäre es zu beklagen gewesen. Ansonsten ist alles Top. Sehr gutes Essen, gute hochwertige Getränke All inclusive und wählbare Themenrestaurants. Allerdings: Nur 3 A la carte Reatsurantbesuche pro Woche möglich. Böse Überraschung, denn das hatte mir mein Reiseveranstalter Edpedia nicht gesagt und wird jetzt reklamiert. Strand sehr schön und sauber, genug Liegen und Handtücher. Alles in allem sehr gut und ich werde wiederkommen.

Hotel surclassé. Parc magnifique. Personnel top

Cons: Faire respecter les non reservations des transats plage et piscine. Varier le buffet
Dans un hotel 5* on s'attend à une chambre plus confortable et mieux équipée(1 seul fauteuil) Le buffet bien en quantité, mais choix de niveau 3*, sauf 1 jour par semaine ou les langoustes sont à volonté. Plage réduite avec des rochers. Les transats sont réservés dès 7h malgré l'interdiction de réserver de l'hotel qui n'est pas du tout respectée. En 15 jours nous n'avons jamais pu avoir un transat sur la plage, et à la piscine on prend ce qui reste, alors que des transats sont réservés toute la journée sans personne dessus. Le personnel du bas au haut de l'echelle est agréable et dévoué. Le wifi gratuit fonctionne très bien au lobby, moyen à la piscine, mais très mal ou pas du tout dans la chambre. Le parc de l'hotel est magnifique et peuplé de cygnes, paons, flamants rose, aigrette, canards, avec une végétation variée et bien fleurie. Imposantes décorations de Noël avec illuminations du parc. Très bon séjour car nous avons bien profité du soleil, mais nous ne pensons pas retourner à cet hotel. Trop de différences avec d'autres hotels 5* fréquentés auparavant en Rep. Dom.

Un petit paradis au soleil pour fêter noel

Une fin d année au soleil en famille avec ma fille et mon petit fils La célébration de noel avec un pere noel high tech atterrissant en hélico sur la plage de l hotel et remettant les cadeaux à notre petit fils émerveille

Iberostar nel cuore

Conoscevo già la catena iberostar per una precedente esperienza in messico.il livello è leggermente piu basso ma sempre al top anche rispetto agli altri resort di bahiaybe. Lo consiglio sotto ogni aspetto.cibo ottimo.
