"We had a wonderful stay! We loved our ground floor room, the outdoor shower was great for keeping our room sand free during our stay. It was quiet, the air conditioner was cold/worked well and the hosts were exceptional. They also allowed us to check in early for a small fee. 10/10 - Would definitely stay again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Blue Horizon Boutique Resort. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the food was excellent. The location is hard to beat—right on the beach, with beautiful ocean views and the unforgettable experience of waking up to wild horses roaming the property. It was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vieques."

"Property was beautiful! Even though there are two more houses for rent on the property, each felt private. Loved the outdoor shower but was not aware that you have to walk down the walkway & its located under the casita. It wasn't a big deal for us- just a heads up. Joel was super friendly & greeted us when we arrived. He showed us around the property & was very easy to communicate with via text if needed. Great location!"

"My stay at Hix Island House was wonderful! The property was very clean and just as described on the website. It was peaceful, relaxing, and romantic, making it the perfect place to unwind. I especially loved the pool area—it was beautiful and so enjoyable. Check-in was easy and hassle-free. The only thing I missed was having a TV in the room, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Hix Island House and would love to stay again!"
