We absolutely loved this hotel. Originally, we had booked for one night but ended up loving it so much we stayed for 3 nights! The property and location is so unique and charming. Around every corner is something new to discover. We can’t wait to come back!

The staff is excellent. The rooms are lovely (we’ve stayed here twice). The location is fabulous - quiet and charming. Lovely rooftop pool / bar where the delightful Jesus tends bar. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something other than a boring resort.

We stayed in the Carlotta. This is a ground level suite. The set up was perfect for a family. Air conditioning worked amazingly for how hot it was. Our room was always cleaned impeccably and we were provided with fresh linen and towels daily. Only note is you will hear outside noise and noise from above rooms occasionally, however it didn’t bother any of us. Really loved the location! Walkable to many different places for food and drink and to the beach. Easy to catch an uber for further excursions. Would totally recommend and can’t wait to stay in the others suites!

My husband and I stayed at this adorable hotel for 3 nights. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this hotel. While the hotel boasts beautifully decorated spaces it is the staff at Rivera Del Rio that made this place wonderful. The breakfast staff, the bartender and the woman at front desk and Javier were very attentive and a pleasure to talk to. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again.

An absolutely stunning hotel with the most amazing staff! Carolina and Javier are some of the best front desk managers I have ever had the pleasure to stay with! The rooms are spectacular and so unique! The roof top pool with the most personable bartender Jesus made you feel like you were right at home! Breakfast was included in my second stay and was super delicious in an insanely gorgeous room with balcony views. I will stay here over and over again! Ugh I had such great hopes for this hotel. First things first, if you are a light sleeper, do not book this hotel. First let's go with the pros •Close to everything • Staff was amazing • Great Pool and Hot Tub • Kitties! 😻 • Each room is beautiful • Bed was extremely comfortable Onto the cons :( • LOUD. In every sense of the word. The doors slam constantly until 3am by visitors. We visited over Christmas Eve and loud music was played next door until 2:30am. There was also fireworks being set off untill 3am. • This boutique hotel is located on a road where people drive by an blast music. • The breakfast was horrible. They cook everything in the microwave. Not worth the $12 at all. •We stayed in the Korvette suite. It is right next to the "kitchen" area. Every morning by 7:15 you can hear them start preparing. This would have been a great stay if everything hadn't been so loud. At least worn people this is not a quiet and peaceful hotel. The place is aesthetically pleasing but not peaceful in the slightest.

Hot tub broken which was the primary reason i choose hotel...Javier fat the front desk was great+++ but didnt get a warm fuzzy feeling from other staff members...breakfast was made on a hot plate...bar food in a toaster oven...bar on roof top very limited and drinks not great...i dont recommend this place...

This hotel has become our favorite in Puerto Vallarta. It’s has the feel of staying at a family member’s house. With an infinity pool that has a great view. All of the staff is outstanding however Javier at the front desk goes above and beyond when it comes to personal service. He quickly notices that my husband and I drink a lot of coffee and arranged to put a coffee maker in our room without us even requesting one. The entire staff shares the same desire to make every guest feel at home. For this reason I will stay in this beautiful hotel every time!
