We have a caravan in Portstewart but as the nighttime temperatures that weekend were freezing and below (January) we opted for the Hotel. We had a very relaxing stay (Saturday night only). We love the beaches , which was were we spent most of our time. We hit Coleraine on Saturday morning - very relaxing and friendly town to potter about in. Stayed during a particularly cold spell and me Hotel was lovely and warm ànd clean coming in from the cold. Restaurant and bar area kept meticulously clean and staff couldn't do enough for ourselves. Lovely open fire added to ambience. Rooms very clean well kept although our room was to the back of the hotel so missed the sea view from rooms to the front. One of the few hotels we have stayed at to cook breakfast to order. Not a buffet breakfast and was worth waiting for cooked meal....
