"Room and bedroom were lovely, french doors with garden outdoor view , you would not expect that from the front door of your room and the front area , bit shabby and dated, saying that bathroom very dated was clean but could do with modernization. Pool was my biggest let down, small very busy and again generally little shabby , temp was good , but I didn't stay in for long , on our visit jacuzzi was full of young lads , all friends couldn't get near it . Quite a walk to breakfast from our room/ chalet, so took car ( disabled) breakfast very basic , can't say much more, not memorable. The area is beautiful, river and scenery, cute shops , obviously expensive, train area good place to visit , enough places to eat and get coffee , we come back regularly so great place. Carpark is broken up deffo needs attention. ."

"I can’t recommend Aberdunant Hall enough, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We stayed in April 2026 for our wedding anniversary, unfortunately our son was taken ill whilst we were visiting, so we spent a lot of time at local hospitals getting him treated. "Check in and out was easy. Room was clean . Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent. Only down side was with it beinging an older building soundproofing wasn't the best. "

"What a gem of a property. Set in a stunning location. Traditional cottage, spotlessly clean with modern touches to add to your comfort. We did cook the majority of the time but visited George III pub one evening which we would definitely recommend.There are lots of birds around, which provided lots of opportunity for my husband to indulge in his photography. We enjoyed a lovely day at the Vale of Rheidol Railway at Aberystwyth and also 2 or 3 of the lovely walks in the area.Andrea is an excellent host, providing so much information and has thought of everything to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible at Riverside Cottage. We will definitely be returning."
