"It was perfect for our stay. Firstly, it was only 5 minutes walk from Harlech Railway station, which was great as we came by train (the ride in along the coast is gorgeous by the way). It is also very convenient for the amazing beach, the wonderful castle & the bustling little town & shops. Our room was clean, quiet & a good size, with a lovely view of the castle. The property was in a beautiful and hidden location. It had everything you need for a few nights stay, even an iron (which we had brought with us). Lovely and relaxing place to stay. Only negative I have was the play area for the children. My toddler couldn’t access the small playground. So maybe that needs developing but she did enjoy the walks and streams! I would go there again without a thought.

Stayed for one night, 10th June 2023, the hosts Huw and Kirsty couldn't have been more welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We were shown to our room and Huw explained that it was next on the list for renovation, but it was more than adequate. Please don't change that bed 😁. Several breakfast options, went for the full Welsh breakfast, tasted amazing. Seriously, couldn't fault it, would definitely go back if in the area.

We (2 couples) stayed in Ty'n Rhos Country House for the Easter weekend and decided to also stay for dinner 2 out of 3 nights. We were amazed by the comfort, service, and quality. The location was great, an easy drive to the nearby castles, Snowdon railway, and other historical sites. We took the train from London to Bangor and hired a car there. Hotel staff went over and above to cater for all our needs (e.g. finding car rental, food allergies). Even though we weren't lucky with the weather...
