The Rising Sun

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing location, would love to visit again."

Stunning spacious house incredible views to estuary sleeps 6 pet, near St Mawes

10/10 Excellent

"We had a lovely stay at this fantastic house- a great base for exploring Cornwall. It is in on a quiet cul de sac with a reserved parking space. The house is modern and tastefully furnished with an enormous open plan living space upstairs with great views from the large bifold windows. It was wonderful to enjoy the view every morning with a cup of tea. The house is very clean and well equipped and very warm (especially with the log burner going). The only improvement we could suggest would be some more luxurious bedding (but what is there is perfectly adequate!). Wendy provided lots of great info and made check in and out very easy. We would love to come back one day!"

Crugsillick Studio - a barn conversion that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

10/10 Excellent

"An exceedingly well equipped detatched cottage. The on-site owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The well fenced garden was ideal for our two small dogs to freely roam. It is nicely situated for walking and access to the numerous nearby beaches. Moreover, although relatively quietly situated on a rural lane it is extremely quick and easy to access the main roads of the peninsular. Parking is provided conveniently next to the entrance of the cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crugsillick Studio and aim to visit again. We would definitely recommend it to others."

Chupra - sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

8/10 Good

"A great property to stay at in St Mawes. Modern, tastefully decorated, well-equipped, comfortable and with outstanding views. The only issue to be aware of is that - whilst the property benefits from a designated parking spot - it is not easy to get bags to and from the property. It has not deterred us from visiting Chupra again, but would be a consideration for anyone with mobility issues."

Crows Nest - sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

10/10 Excellent

"Our second visit to Crow's Nest did not disappoint, we were delighted with the accommodation, location and the weather! It was lovely to receive a welcome card from Denise and Alasdair (the owners) with a packet of biscuits and a pint of milk for tea. The booking and instructions for arrival were again very smooth and made personal through Fal Cottages. This is our fifth visit to St Mawes and we will book the Crow's Nest every year from now on - what better recommendation could there be!"
