Port Royal Holidays from £848

Hands down one of the best hotel stays we’ve had, even for just one night, especially for the price. The rate was affordable, and the property is in the same area as other much more expensive hotels. It’s close to restaurants, Walmart, and plenty of takeout options, which made everything very convenient. Parking was a breeze. Check-in was super easy, and both the rooms and swimming pool were clean and well maintained. The WiFi was strong, and the lobby was welcoming with comfortable areas to sit and work if you didn’t want to stay in your room. The rooms also include popular streaming apps (i.e., Netflix, Disney+, AppleTV, Youtube) so you’re not stuck watching cable television. The staff were incredibly friendly, from check-in with Ms. Naiema and Ms. Tanya to the housekeeping and custodial teams. Everyone was genuinely kind and greeted you with a smile. They also offer coffee and tea throughout the day and a breakfast buffet in the morning. I would definitely book this place again and have already shared with my local CHS friends how impressed I was with the hotel.

It being connected to the Middleton Place grounds was great. We walked the paths and saw so much wildlife. The hotel was also a treat as it has great views of the Ashley River and the marsh areas across the river. We will go back again.

The staff was amazing. I lost my passport and I called the front manager Ray and he took his time to go out and look for it in the parking lot and he found it! I was so grateful he was very nice and we would stay there again. The kitchen staff was also very friendly and hospitable.

There isn't enough to justify complaining, but there also isn't enough to justify praise, hence the OKAY rating. Cost was too high for what was being offered, 10 years ago this would have been a $100 hotel stay, not $250, so the price went up but it's still a $100 hotel stay, take what you will from that.
