"Close to Marine Air Station "
Check in at the hotel was quick and the staff was friendly. We had a queen suite and upon entering the room, we liked the layout. The sofa bed area was roomy, and the bedroom had a door that could be shut. The bathroom was nice sized, but the vent fan was extremely noisy and the shower did not get good water pressure, so that was our main complaint about the room. We had to go down to the front desk to get an extra towel, since there were only two in the room, and we had three adults in the room. Also, a couple of lights were burned out, and we had to ask twice over a period of two days before the bulbs were replaced. There was a complimentary breakfast each morning that was ok. We did wish there had been a fresh fruit or yogurt choice, instead of just lots of starchy breads and muffins. We used the hotel laundry. The dryer was new, but it did not get very hot, so after 30 minutes, clothes were still really damp. I was out of quarters at that point, and there was no change at the front desk and no change machine, so I ended up hanging the wet clothes in the room overnight to air dry. The best thing about the room was the beds. They were firm, but we thought they were very comfortable. Despite the minor issues, we enjoyed out stay, and would consider staying there again in the future (just not on the third floor where the water pressure issues seem to be a problem all the time, according to the hotel staff).
