"We really enjoyed our stay. We were walking the SWCP and were glad to stop earlier on this leg. (Just dont take the road to the lighthouse and then climb the scree over the hill: steep and dangerous). The room was excellent. Comfortable. Delicious dinner down stairs, and lucky for us on our night, a live singer providing a musical background atmosphere. She was lovely, and just the thing to elevate the evening to next level."

Fantastic overnight stay. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival by the owner who then took us to a great vantage point to take in the stunning views whilst giving us a brief bit of background history surrounding the building. We took our dog who was welcomed greatly. The staff on site were pleasant and polite and on hand to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to return later on in the year.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful, secluded and extremely picturesque location. Everything is about quality over quantity from the number of rooms to the very well prepared meals, which clearly use the best ingredients. Limited facilities, but this is part of the charm. The owners and waitress were always on hand to ensure satisfaction and are very friendly. Not suitable for younger children, which will suit many older people looking for a few days of tranquility away from busy lives.

This Guest House is very welcoming. You are greeted with a big smile and settled in quickly and smoothly. If you have any issues, there is a can do approach to helping you out. There is a lovely homely lounge for visitors to share inclusive with fridge, games, tv, open fire, and for the adventurous, maps. Manageress went out of her way to make us welcome. Room was a fair size, clean with ample storage, small fridge and a good size ensuite with bath and separate shower. Only noise you can hear is the river flowing nearby and the birds at first light. Varied menu and expect good quality and service. Cosy and warm bar. Small hotel with ample parking close by. Highly recommended and will visit again.

This was our second stay at the property. We received a warm welcome as usual and checked into our spacious family room. The hotel is clean but a little tired in places. We're happy to see that they are undertaking a refurbishment and look forward to seeing the results next year. The location is outstanding; a short walk from the beach and high street.
