I was trying to go to sleep when 2 drunk guys in the room next to me started arguing and hitting things. The phone in my room did not work and the WiFi did not reach my room so I had no way to call for help. The men were screaming and arguing for an hour while I packed my stuff in the dark as I was so scared. The police finally arrived so I went to the lobby but the receptionist said there were no other rooms available in the hotel. The police did not kick the men out of the hotel and I did not feel comfortable staying there. The receptionist was a jerk and would not help me find another hotel as I think he was scared about losing his job. I called Orbitz and the representative was very helpful as always. She called the hotel and then helped me locate one which had rooms. I took an Uber and stayed in another hotel where I felt safe so I really appreciate Orbitz. However, Orbitz should not advertise this hotel anymore as I don’t know if I will receive my money back. Thanks Orbitz for always having great customer service available.

Buenas Noches, le respondo de la manera mas respetuosa y le aclaro que se sale de nuestras manos proyectar el buen comportamiento de los clientes dentro del establecimiento, los clientes en alto grado de alcohol. el recepcionista manejo la situación con las entidades competentes, ya se sale de nuestras manos exigirles a los huéspedes que pueden hacer o no hacer por fuera del establecimiento, lo que usted debería mencionar es que fue la unica persona de 44 clientes alojados que una vez resuelta la situación quiso abandonar el hotel después de que los agentes de policía solucionaron está situación, también debería de aclarar que su dinero fue devuelto, también debería mencionar que la administración de este hotel le brindo su ayuda hasta el ultimo momento, este tipo de comentarios ustedes como clientes deberían si lo van a comentar decir tal cual son las cosas y no tratar de acabar con la imagen de un establecimiento que lo único que hace es prestar un buen servicio. y no es nuestra culpa el que usted no sepa como llamar a recepción si a su llegada se le explico cual es el numero a marcar en caso de que usted solicitara algo

Cute but some staff need training
Everything went well except for checkout- they wanted to charge me over 25% more for taxes, when no one ever mentioned taxes not being included in the reservation price. Both the website and the hotel need to be clear about this BEFORE checkout. All other staff members were incredibly nice and helpful- we even had a nurse/receptionist help us out!

Great location, nice simple breakfast and really helpful staff. However our room was very loud (could hear every movement and conversation in the lobby) and not all the windows in our room had curtains so was really bright. Not the greatest place to try and get any sleep.

Nice hotel very close to the beauty downtown
We stay only 2 nights but was great, we rest a lot, comfortable bed y very nice hot water and the best thing of all, wifi always available at hotel, the last day we went to see the town and they let us leave our backpacks there without extra cost, deffinitelly I recomend this hotel and I will stay again there

This hotel is located within the historic center, mattresses are a bit hard as per standard in Colombia, service is helpful, walk up the hill, down the hill there is nothing to see as you will be leaving the historic centre. Overall this hotel gives good value for a very reasonable price

Just what we needed
We are on a motorcycle trip through Central and South America. We just needed a quick overnight stay with a secure place to store the bikes. For just a place to sleep the hotel was good enough and very friendly...and the price was right.

The hotel was not too much good, the room was bit dirty, the bed was hard like a rock, and had old sheets. They asked me to leave before 11 am because they needed the room because of a group of people were going to check in the hotel that morning.

no entendemos como usted puede calificar un establecimiento si no se hospedo en el hotel, entendemos que su mala experiencia en otro establecimiento no fuera buena, pero el hotel la herreria no puede asumir ese tipo de comentarios que no hacen referencia a nuestro servicio

Buena opción en Popayan
Es un lugar acogedor, con un personal muy amable y comprometido con un buen servicio. La habitación es algo pequeña, pero en general es una buena experiencia. Desayuno bueno. La ubicación es excepcional.

En general todo muy bien, es un buen lugar conforme a la relación precio/calidad. Hace falta mas personal para la atención, el servicio a la hora de servir el desayuno no fue tan ágil y cómodo.

El hotel, como es normal en Popayan, una vieja edificación, pero el problema es seguido en mantenimiento en paredes, pisos, muebles, etc. La humedad es alta y se respira en el ambiente, piezas viejas y muy muy sencillas... Falta mucho por hacer allí, no volvería al lugar, 2 estrellas máximo.

El servicio De restaurante sobre todo en las horas de la tarde no estuvo disponible durante mi estadía, recuerdo especialmente en una de las noches que fue por gusto del chef que no quiso dejar de hacer sus cosas personales que no hubo servicio, pero en general es muy buen lugar para hospedarse

Perfecto para descansar luego de una ardua jornada de trabajo...el cafe-bar contiguo ofrece un espacio muy ameno para relajarse... lo recomiendo sin duda!
