"We had a wonderful time at the Bull Pen. If you’re looking for a quiet, well equipped secluded base from which to explore the nearby towns and villages, this was hard to beat. The nearest shops are a 5 minute car journey away and there are plenty of pubs in the area if you want a bite out. "My family and I had an amazing vacation at this incredible well appointed Lodge. So conveniently located for all the main attractions and only a stones throw from the beaches on both sides of Cornwall. The creeks are amazing, and the setting of the Lodge is so tucked away and private with every mod con that you need. We loved it here and enjoyyed heading off for walk from the Estate. As a family we couldnot recommend highly enough! Thanks to all of the Lodge team for an experience to remember!"

"Hadn't realised there was a pool, will remember next time. Staff very helpful particularly in the restaurant as there were changes to the menu. Safe parking at the back of the hotel."

"Really friendly and helpful staff. Make sure you get in touch early if you want a particular breakfast time, as there is limited capacity. They do warn you about this in advance. Good choice of options for breakfast - I particularly enjoyed the eggs royale. Very handy having the car park opposite the hotel rather than having to park in the town car park at the top of the village. Clean and comfortable room. Shower wasn’t very strong but temperature fine. Very enjoyable three-night stay there, just out of peak season.."

"Very friendly staff, showed me to my room and made sure I was aware of which doors would be closed at which times and where everything was. The room was cosy and comfortable. I had a texmex grill for dinner in the pub which was delicious, and the breakfast which was included in the price of the room was also extremely tasty with a great range of options available. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area. Thank you."
