Basic and comfortable…

We stayed here to be close to the Tour de France. Basic accommodations but having a kitchen is a bonus. You can buy fresh baguettes and cheese, etc at the nearby 8Onze (corner grocer) but it's a 15 minute walk. If you are coming by bus, like we did, this is not the easiest location to get to, especially if you have luggage. It's a good 20-25 minute walk uphill from the centre of town where the bus drops you off. If you're driving, then it's great. It's a ski in ski out location. It would be great during the ski season. The staff is great! Thierry and Stephane gave us great suggestions for meals. You must try Le Schuss: delicious raclette (bring your appetite) and fondue. If you're looking for luxurious accommodations, look elsewhere but if you need a clean, safe, accommodation with room to move... this is it! Overpriced stay…

Reception poorly signposted as the residence reception was closed and we had to check in elsewhere. Expensive stay for level of accommodation, typical ski resort, had to leave a deposit via credit card in case we did any damage and then needed to wait 20 Minutes the next morning until someone could check the room was ok and return our deposit. Great position for pic du midi evening visit but overpriced by a long way. Ok breakfast, completely self service, no staff in sight until reception opened at 9 am. Fortunately we did not need an early departure. Would only use again if like this time we were unable to get hotel accommodation…Reception poorly signposted as the residence reception was closed and we had to check in elsewhere. Dépaysement assuré pour nous, mais...…

Nous avons dû payer la veille de notre départ le montant prevu prélevé des la réservation ce qui nous a surpris. Nous avons demandé (par mail à l'hôtel) une facture pour la totalité du séjour acquitté, à ce jour nous n'avons rien recu. Ce qui nous inquiète.…
