"We had a great week. The property is spacious and the garden extensive with olive trees and areas of shade for the heat of the day. "This property honestly exceeded our expectations. Fantastic facilities, lovely shared pool with specially assigned seating for only a few other guests. All the staff we dealt with were super helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our wine and olive oil tasting with Erika. The restaurant associated with the property - Osteria del Vecchio Olivo is authentic and good value. Only a 5 minute walk up the hill to picturesque Montecarlo which has lots of good restaurants. "After a precarious drive up, we were blown away by the views and pool at this property. It is breath taking. There is a wonderful restaurant just up the road and a fantastic town below. Really great place to bring groceries, sit by the pool and relax. We had a fabulous spa day in the town, also. LOVED this stay and hope we can return!"

"Well situated home on beautiful property perfect for day trips to surrounding beach, wineries, small hilltop tuscan villages plus the big ones Lucca Pisa Florence . Helpful host with great recommendations for activities and restaurants. Welcome gifts of local wine, homemade jam, and fresh eggs from the chickens. Down side? No air- conditioning for those hot tuscan days as are most homes but manageable with fans and shaded property."

"I loved my time at The Barn at La Poletta! My one piece of advice is: if you are traveling without a car, budget a good deal of money for taxis to come in from Viareggio or another nearby city to pick you up and take you where you want to go. But this property is lovely! A real treat. Grazie!"

"The flat was ideally located very close to the historic centre of Pisa and the downtown. It was also not far from the train station Pisa Centrale, so you could take a train anywhere very easily. The owner’s mother, Francesca, was very kind and helpful, both in booking in and leaving. The flat had a bright, lovely garden in the back, and all the amenities you would need. Altogether, a great booking experience!"

"Es war wunderschön abgelegen, ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto bis nach Pescia. Ein wunderschönes kleines Bergdorf eine traumhafte Aussicht und einfach soooo viel Natur. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber lief reibungslos (auf italienisch) und er war sehr freundlich. Der Garten war an einer Seite durch eine Hecke umzäunt, da wäre mir ein richtiger Zaun lieber gewesen. Mein kleiner Hund ist einmal sehr übermütig durch die Hecke durch und dahinter die ca. 2-3 Meter hohe Mauer hinunter...
