The view, the relaxed atmosphere of the place and the pool; we never enjoyed a pool that much, it’s big, soft salted water and a view on the surrounding mountains on top, just perfect. My one piece of advice is: if you are traveling without a car, budget a good deal of money for taxis to come in from Viareggio or another nearby city to pick you up and take you where you want to go. We chose “The Barn” for our visit. It was small but, packed with all of the charm of an quaint Italian farmhouse.The views from the saltwater pool made us speechless… we never tired of taking in all the beauty around us.The kitchen had all we needed to make our simple meals.The housekeeper was very conscientious to our needs. The home was much more “rustic” than we expected. AC can only be run at night and works intermittently. The shower and toilets are a combination sort of deal. So you shower on a wooden crate they provide while the shower curtain separates you from the toilet. This setup drenched the bathroom every time we showered and felt generally unclean and awkward. The sheets provided smelled musty and didn’t feel clean. Die Scheune ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, eine Aktualisierung wäre gut: Putz und Farbe sind nicht mehr überall intakt, die Armaturen in Bad und Küche lassen sich nicht mehr gut dosieren, die Perlatoren fehlen. Alles funktioniert aber einwandfrei! Und: es ist eben eine Scheune und kein Schloss, und deshalb ohne Fenster, nur mit Lüftungsschlitzen und zwei Türen. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum, ebenso wie die gesamte Außenanlage (der Rasen hätte etwas früher gemäht werden können). Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt. Service und Betreuung waren Perfekt, Stafano hatte immer ein offenes Ohr und war sehr nett (er hat uns ein Upgrade angeboten), Vittoria kümmert sich vorbildlich um die Anlage. Bis auf die genannten Kleinigkeiten eine sehr schöne Anlage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. ##### Martina T. Alles was aanwezig in het appartement . Helaas konden we door het slechte weer weinig gebruik maken van het terras. Fijn was dat ook onze hond van harte welkom was. Alles war sehr sauber und der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut. Mögliche Probleme kann man vor Ort mit der Hausmeisterin klären, war in unserem Fall gar nicht nötig. Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Urlaub. Für Urlauber mit Hund sehr geeignet. Leider ist der Weg zum Strand recht weit. ##### Werner B. Die Unterkunft war sauber, hüpsch hergerichtet und die Übergabe/ Ankunft hat problemlos geklappt. Das Anwesen ist sehr schön und gepflegt- definitiv ein Ort zum verweilen. Auch die Umgebung bietet viele tolle Möglichkeiten. Das Stedtchen ist zu Fuss in max. 20 Minuten gut erreichbar. Sind mehrere Feriengäste anwesend, kann es etwas lauter sein da die Unterkünfte nah beieinander liegen. Sonst alles tip top. Wir würden wieder kommen! ##### Martina S. Diese Unterkunft ist perfekt geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Rennradtouren und Wanderungen. Auch nach Camaiore Ort ist es nicht weit, so dass wir das Auto oft stehen lassen konnten. An den Abenden konnten wir uns direkt auf dem Grundstück über Glühwürmchen freuen. Und die Terrasse war perfekt für gemütliche Lesestunden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und die Terrasse schenkt ausreichend Privatsphäre. Der Pool mit dem Ausblick auf die Berge ist ein absoluter Traum. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und die Lage bietet gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Der Besitzer Stefano und auch die Hausmeisterin Vittoria waren immer gut zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit.
