"Large clean side of building room view of the road . Old building so has a sloping floor . Breakfast was okay a help yourself type . Bed was comfortabe enough. It was suitable for my one night stay at an average price for the time of year."

"The hotel is well situated on the main road in Long Rock with parking. It was a good price with breakfast.There's a bus stop nearby for buses to Penzance, St Ives, Truro etc. The hotel has a bar for residents and locals. The room was basic but clean with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee supplies, a small wall mounted TV and a sink. The staff were friendly and helpful. I booked through Hotels.com and it wasn't obvious that the bathrooms are shared, in fact there's no mention of it. I did book a 'basic twin room' and I expected an en suite, although for the price I paid, maybe that was a stretch. The downside of being on the main is a lot of traffic noise. The wifi wouldn't connect in the room but it did downstairs in the bar."

Clearing up the door access - much of artefacts like chairs/pots are unnecessary and makes the manoeuvring difficult2. Lots of books takes up a lot a space in the room3. The ventilation in the room is a challenge, specially in the summer and without a fan the nights are uneasy. The windows cannot be left open due to insectct"

"Don't know where to start... I booked a standard double room, based on the pictures I saw online. They should have to tell you there isn't enough room to have a full size suitcase and 2 adults in this room.the bed was so close to the wall it was hard to get in and out of bed. We had to rig a little corner shelf they had for tea and coffee to make our case fit. If you were just there for a night with a backpack fine, but we were traveling from the states for 2 weeks, so a big case was needed. The room itself was very clean, the bathroom was very roomy and bright. We did ask if there were other rooms available, unfortunately not for the first 2 nights, then we were able to move up to a king room. What a great room that was. The staff here was great. The breakfast was very good"

"The location isn’t great. It’s 15 min away from the main road. There’s no curtain/bed divider that will add for your privacy. My electric outlet and lamp not working. Locker wise, you need to bring your own padlock to secure your things."

"The rooms in the pub are underwhelming, noisy, need maintenance (our bathroom had the light and loo roll holder hanging off the wall) and expensive for what you get. Food at the pub is also not great. The staff were friendly and the music good. Probably wouldn’t chose here again or would go in a garden pod."
