The hotel is brand new and beautifully styled. From the open air lobby to the gardens, rooms, restaurants and public spaces it is all stunning. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. Beds and pillows superbly comfortable. The onsite restaurant Seira serves the best Massaman curry I have ever had. Access to the beach and neighbouring restaurants is easy. Jomtien is chilled and relaxed and feels very exclusive.

Good place what can be evaluated like architecture art peace. Service is top notch, breakfast was good. Only downsides- I wish there is full fresh juice bar as in Hua Hin, massage therapist (they are finishing spa) and I feel a bit embarrassed to wait until waitress check if I am not steal 10 dollars wardrobe - not sure but I was a bit so-so. Other then that - it’s fabulous

I stayed at The Standard Pattaya expecting the elevated service and attention to detail the brand is known for, but unfortunately my experience fell far below 5-star standards. Every night, my room key stopped working and had to be reactivated — an inconvenience that became a daily pattern. Housekeeping was another issue: I returned to my room each evening to find it untouched, despite being out for hours. When I called for towels, they never arrived even after waiting 45 minutes. Service by the adult pool was equally disappointing. I was the only guest there, yet I still had to wave down assistance from three employees who appeared to be standing around rather than offering proactive service. I truly wanted to love this property, but the consistent lapses made the stay frustrating. With the rates and the brand reputation, I expected a much higher level of service and reliability.

Overall great experience at The Standard. We were excited to try this brand new location to relax by the beach. Hotel is beautifully decorated with a stunning 60/70's architecture vibe that gives a Wes Anderson mood. The location is quite convenient near most attractions. A lot of room of improvement to make: While checking in, we haven't got any welcome card nor sweets as usual process. Baby cot was missing in the room. Staff is very friendly but needs a better training on how to manage small requests such as house keeping takes quite a while every day, restaurant for breakfast and dinner was always having a queue and long wait (one night we have been told that we will have to wait for 1 hour to get served...). Halal meat, chicken confusion on Siera restaurant. A lot of misunderstanding due to lack of english for some of them. The beach is cleaned we believed every morning but since the hotel is next door to an empty field, a lot of trashes are piled out there so visually speaking not really good. I had to watch very closely my 2 years baby boy to avoid picking up dangerous stuff. We stayed there for 5 nights during LNY and a lot of events were happening at the beach club such as big private party at Esme until late without notice. We have been staying at The Standard around the world for some years now (Maldives, NYC, Bangkok, Singapore, Hua Hin) and this brand new one in Pattaya is by far the least pleasant one that for the standing and pricepoint must be improved.
