Our 55 sqm flat has been refurbished in January 2019. It is located on the first floor of a traditional XIX Century apartment building in the Heart of Parma, Oltretorrente District. It features a living area, overlooking a pedestrian-only square, with fully-equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, French sofa-bed (140x200 cm), and a bedroom with Queen / King-size bed (160x200 cm). The roomy bathroom is equipped with shower, hair-dryer, washing machine, and a nice window overlooking a small, peaceful patio. The flat hosts four people.
Parquet and wooden joists create a warm and cozy atmosphere, making guests feel at home, away from home. TV set and broadband internet connection (WI-FI) are included in rental fees, as bad linens and towels are. Heating system and air conditioner for hot weather days.
In the apartment guests will find, among other features, a coffee machine with different capsules, tea bags, bottles of water, etc.
In the building entrance hall, a bicycle with padlock chain is available for guests (Apartment building rules only grant one bike space for each flat).
Elisabetta and myself will be available for info regarding the use of the apartment equipment as well as for touristic information about Parma, Emilia-Romagna Region as well as other Italian Regions. We are also available for just a chat, if desired. I am fluent in English, French and Spanish. Elisabetta in English.
In the square where flat is located there a few restaurants and around the corners more can be found, along with bars, bakeries, Fruits & Veg shops, pubs, supermarkets etc.
All touristic attractions are 5-10 minutes: Parco Ducale (created by Marie Louise D'Austria, mother of Napoleone II), Teatro Regio (or Royal Theater), the Duomo, Monastery and Church of S. Giovanni Evangelista, the Ancient Pharmacy of S. Giovanni, Piazza Garibaldi (Parma central square), Piazza del Duomo, The Steccata Church, Ancient Teatro Farnese (early XVII Century), Pilotta Monumental Complex, all relevant Museums (Glauco Lombardi, Pilotta, etc.).
20 meters away a bus stop is the ideal place to reach any destinations in the City Center thanks to several bus lines serving the area (in case of rain, or unwillingness to walk even if for short distance).
A few meters from flat is the Ancient Hospital (XIII Century - one of Italy's oldest): it's worth a visit!
