The apartment that was recently renovated, is comfortable and quiet; it has wi-fi and convenient amenities for those who want to feel at home even on the go! Guests will have exclusive access to the entire apartment. It will be like living at home. The apartment, although located in the city center, is reserved and quiet, in fact, it overlooks an inner courtyard with a fountain that helps to forget that you are in the heart of a pulsating and noisy city. The building has a concierge service and the apartment is equipped with alarm and can be reached via an elevator; there are heating and air conditioning services, bed and bath linen and a kitchen with crockery. The accommodation is equipped with 3 rooms: Room 1 - living room with a comfortable double sofa bed. Room 2- Spacious independent bedroom with a double bed Room 3 - Independent bedroom with a single bed which, on request, thanks to an extractable bed, can become double. I live in another apartment of the same building and I am available to assist when needed. I am always happy to provide tips of what to see, where to eat and how to enjoy the town! Palazzo Moncada is located in the heart of Palermo's historic center and within easy reach of its rich heritage of history, culture, art and good food. The building overlooks Via Roma, opposite Piazza San Domenico, where the Church of the same name is located. From the building it is possible to walk to the main places of cultural interest of the city; including the major city theaters and major museums (Palazzo Abatellis and National Archaeological Museum). In the immediate vicinity of the apartment you can also shop in the shops of via Roma, eat characteristic foods, reach nightclubs in the center, browse through the ancient markets of Palermo, including the "Vucciria", which is a short walk from the apartment The palace is located in front of "La Rinascente", where there are various clothing shops and accessories of well-known brands; on the top floor of the building there is a bar / restaurant where on a large terrace (see one of the photos) overlooking the rooftops of the historic center of Palermo, you can dine or take an aperitif at sunset. The area is also very well connected by public services that allow you to reach all other urban and peripheral areas of Palermo. Palazzo Moncada is well connected by public transport. There is a paid car park a few meters from the building and free car parks in the immediate vicinity (100-200 mt). Directly from the airport, you can take a bus (€ 7.3 per person) that will leave you a few meters away from the house, in the Via Roma stop. You can also take the train from the airport (€ 5 per person) that will take you to Palermo Central Station in 30 minutes; from there it is about 1 km on foot or by bus along via Roma to reach the apartment. ## Property amenities ### Internet - It’s within walking distance of everything, which is great. The building is very secure and safe, with a concierge at the entrance. The apartment can actually sleep 6 if necessary (Queen bed in main bedroom, two single beds in second bedroom, and a pull-out sold). On bathroom and decent kitchen too. Due to a glitch in the system, the apartment was double-booked and the other guests had already checked in. As soon as Stefano was aware of this, he had his assistant Rodi find an alternative accomodation for us. It was in the same neighborhood so we can tell you that the neighborhood is terrific -- it's a great location, walkable to everything.Stefano was very professional and his assistant, Rodi, was wonderful. She met us at the apartment and kindly answered all of our questions. We wouldn't hesitate to book with them again. ##### Mario A. We were on the last leg of a 10 day girl's trip and made a quick stop to Palermo where we stayed at Rodi's apartment. We arrived a little early and she offered for us to leave our heavy bags while the cleaning was being finished and we explored the city. Rodi invited us in to her apartment and gave us ideas for must see places making our trip all the more better. The apartment was clean, quiet, cool and comfortable and is in the perfect location- very close to some great markets and food. We loved our stay here and Rodi's hospitality and would definitely stay here again if we ever make the trip back. ##### Amanda R. Rodi, la personne qui nous accueille, est particulièrement gentille, attentionnée et disponible. Elle a accompagné mon mari pour aller faire des achats, nous a donné de bons conseils de restos et nous a trouvé un taxi à notre départ. L’appartement est propre et confortable, dans un vieil immeuble rénové. Il est moins grand que les photos le laissent croire. La salle de bain a besoin d’amour…!!! Le quartier est bruyant mais l’appartement donnant sur une cour intérieure, sans grand intérêt par ailleurs, on peut dormir tranquilles. ##### LOUISE M.
