This high-quality apartment in the centre of Palermo, very peaceful and bright, is located on the fourth floor and is spread over two floors. Thanks to its warm and colourful tones, the living room is very welcoming, with a sofa, a dining table and the fireplace. The kitchen, equipped with every tool needed to prepare a delicious meal, is completed also with an oven and a microwave, and has access to a balcony. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. From the entrance, you can walk up the wooden stairs that lead to the second level of the apartment where it opens to another living area. This area is flooded with light thanks to the large windows and a glass door that give access to the jewels of the property: two terraces, one of which with a wooden pergola that makes it possible to enjoy it also during the warmest hours of the day. The apartment is equipped with two full bathrooms, the first with a bathtub and the latter with shower, decorated with turquoise mosaic tiles. Comforts as free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning complete the property. Cot and high chair available upon request, at an extra cost of 25€ per stay, per item. \*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. In this regard, tourists can take part in the "Baroque itinerary of Palermo' to visit the main monuments of the city, such as the Church of the Holy Savior, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to participate in the "Tour of the Historical Markets of Palermo' which will allow guests to explore the markets of Ballarò and Capo. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch or snack time, it is strictly required to taste the dishes with your hands only! This tour will also give tourists the opportunity to admire prominent buildings, streets and squares. Moreover, the apartment is located a few steps from the Cala, recently renovated and completed with the modern Trapezoidal Pier. A space that is the protagonist of an urban regeneration and redevelopment project with the aim of telling tourists and locals about the city's history and the fundamental role of its port for the entire territory. The central station is only at 15 minutes walking distance, where you will also find the bus stop for transfers from/to the airport. The staff at Wonderful Italy was very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. They were especially helpful in arranging taxis to and from the property. The apartment is spacious with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. We especially like the upstairs terrace where we'd have breakfast everyday. The location is ideal, within walking distance to the churches, market and other sights, as well as many excellent restaurants, cafes and gelato shops. We were very happy just strolling the streets. We would definitely stay here again if visiting beautiful Palermo! ##### Garrett H. The temperature was supposed to get up to 20°C (68°F), a little cool for my taste but survivable. The host left, the heating shut off at 18°C (64°F) about 30min later and never came back on, by the time it hit 14°C (57°F), I tried to reach out to the host and received an automated message saying they are unreachable from 7PM - 10AM. So I just had to freeze all night under piles of blankets. In the morning they offered to send someone to look at it at noon if I could stick around to let them in, on my vacation. There was also a leak in the roof and they "needed me to let that repair person in and out to work on the roof" while I was staying there, again, this is supposed to be my vacation and I'm the one dealing with repair crews. Also, I booked the house because it has a Jacuzzi tub and I knew I'd be on my feet a lot. Turns out the Jacuzzi tub is also broken, so I filled it to take a normal bath only to get in a realize it's surrounded with black mold. I ended up leaving to check into hotel after the first night, I contacted the host and they said "they'll look into the issues", they never replied or answered my requests again and they never did anything about it. I tried to contact VRBO about it and was told I have to work with the host. So I just paid for 4 nights at a place that was a nightmare to stay in for 1 night.
