It is located inside a noble building of the early twentieth century, built by a family of princes, and boasts a suggestive internal courtyard. Elegant and refined, the 105 square meter apartment has high roofs and walls in warm Mediterranean colors. A wonderful tufa stone arch, gold in color, welcomes the entrance. Convenient and comfortable, it is ideal for couples, families or groups of friends but also children and babies, being equipped with a high chair, cot and playpen. Entirely parquet and renovated, the apartment is a comfortable four-room apartment. It consists of: 2 independent double bedrooms with air conditioning, kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and electric oven, living room with double sofa bed, entrance and three balconies. In the apartment there is also a washing machine available for guests. The bedrooms have newly purchased furniture, beds and mattresses. The kitchen is equipped with plates, glasses, steel cutlery, pans and pots for cooking, coffee maker for breakfast, table cloths, breakfast placemats and tea towels. It has two bathrooms, one with a shower and the second with a bathtub for shower use, for the use of the two bedrooms. Bathrooms are stocked with terry towels, large and guest, and shower towels or bathrobes. All sterilized and ironed. Many surprises await you It has two TVs and independent heating, with a new boiler installed in February 2018\. The apartment is equipped with free high-speed wi-fi which also allows you to watch foreign TV channels through computers and tablets. It has two exposures and three balconies: two on the front and one on the inside with threads for hanging the laundry. Being an ancient palace it has thick walls which ensure summer coolness and a lot of silence for rest at night. All the fixtures are new and insulating from outside temperature and noise. In January 2018 the entrance to the building was also renovated. The apartment is located in a strategic position, in the center, close to the main places of interest in the city: a 5-minute walk from the Massimo theater, Piazza San Domenico, the port, the Vucciria market, Palazzo Branciforte and the area shopping and 10 minutes Piazza PoIiteama, the Quattro canti di città and the Martorana church with its splendid mosaics. At 500 meters, the entirely pedestrianized Via Maqueda, full of shops, which leads to Piazza Pretoria, the Martorana church and the UNESCO Norman Arab route. From the end of Via Cavour, by turning the corner of the street, a beautiful and suggestive walk with a sea view starts on the boat docks where you can find nice places for an aperitif and small snacks. Pecorrendo the coast you reach the historic center: Piazza Marina with its secular trees where a characteristic antiques market is held, Palazzo Steri with its seventeenth-century prisons of the inquisition, Palazzo Abatellis, the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi and Santa Maria della Catena. The historic center is all a discovery: ancient noble palaces, frescoes, vaults and Liberty buildings that are discovered as if by magic in the eyes of the visitor. The neighborhood, in the center of Palermo, offers a few steps to the grocery market, two supermarkets, bars, restaurants, bakeries, fruit and vegetable shops, butchers and fishmongers, two pharmacies, paid parking and a tobacconist. The area is very safe at any time, even during the night due to its proximity to the prefecture of Palermo and the regional command of the Guardia di Finanza. Completely renovated and with parquet, the apartment is a comfortable four room. Very refined, it has high ceilings and the walls in warm Mediterranean colors. It consists of: two bedrooms with double beds and air conditioning, kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher and oven, living room with sofa bed, entrance. It has two bathrooms, one with shower and the second with bath tube shower use. It owns two tv, washing machine and heating. It has three balconies. It was clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. It is in a perfect location to walk to many of the cities sites and restaurants. Best of all are the hosts. They were so accommodating and responsive to any of our questions and needs. They are wonderful and we would definitely stay here again. Very kind and helpful. Super quick to respond and very easy to talk to. The property is in a great location and is a superb value. The showers could be larger and updated but then they could probably charge twice as much. Thr apartment was fully equipped and was centrally located making the exploration of Palermo easy. The apartment wss also larger than the pictures show allowing enough privacy for both couples. After our stressful flight changes getting to Sicily this was a worry free , comfortable place to enjoy what the city has to offer. ##### Mary Ann B. Evidently this family has 2 apartments in this same street. From the moment we were met at the train station by our host, Calogero, until we left the city, we had nothing but wonderful experiences. This was our first visit to Palermo and we are now thinking about how soon we can return for a longer visit. The flat is more than comfortable and the area is excellent -- easy to get to sights and restaurants and shopping. Calogero gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and sight-seeing. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is very comfortable. Even after a long day, we couldn't resist sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine, or a coffee in the morning. Location allowed us to walk most of the places we wanted to see. The living room was not well furnished unfortunately. Only one uncomfortable couch. On days we were not as active, there was not really anywhere comfortable to sit and read. Also the only tv was in the kitchen, again not very user friendly The landlord was gracious, very proud of the apartment and the city.
