It is located in the most central area of the city, a stone's throw from the port, the Politeama theater and the main shopping streets. A few minutes walk from the Massimo theater and the Cathedral. A few meters away is the bus stop for reaching Mondello beach or Monreale Cathedral. The proximity to the port gives the opportunity to walk to the starting points of the ferries to the Aeolian Islands, Ustica and other islands. The apartment was in walking distance from the port. Alessandra was such an amazing host. She let me drop my bags off and gave me directions to some beautiful sights while she prepared the apartment. The apartment was clean, well supplied and central to everything. Alessandra was quick to respond to communication and she even spotted me in town and stopped to say hello and ask how my stay was. It is extremely well decorated with white walls and beautiful art. Lots of room. Alessandra was readily available through WhatsApp and even did a great deal of research to help us deal with the parking issue. If you are arriving by car the location of the apartment is very easy to get to, off the main road close to the harbour. The location is also very good to see all the main attractions. Everything is within a few kilometers. Note that for whatever reason the tourist office is closed all weekend! Luckily Alessandra had a map of Palermo. You'll need one! ##### Mary N.
