"We had stay over at the Golden Jubilee hotel as I was attending the hospital there. Warm welcome from reception even though she was very busy. The facilities are good though we didn’t use the pool. It was nice to relax in the bar area and have some reasonably priced light bites. All served with polite and friendly staff. Room was excellent plenty of space but it was an adjoining room and the people next door had very loud voices that went on till midnight. All in all it was a very good experience. Breakfast was plenty a help yourself though on the dot of 9.30 it’s cleared away !!"

"Nice staff, good location, easy access to the public transportation to the downtown and decent distance from the airport. Facility can use an upgrade. Carpets and room looked old, and not castle or 4 star caliber .."

"I would unfortunately not recommend staying here, especially at the weekend. We arrived on a Saturday as my eight year old daughter had a competition on the Sunday, the noise was awful, shouting, swearing, banging on doors, finally settled down around 3am. The restaurant area is nice, however my sister in-law ordered a chicken burger, which when arrived was uncooked and had to be sent back. The state of the toilets the next day was disgusting. Dirty paper towel and toilet roll all over the floor, confetti from the night before sprayed all over, the floor was all flooded, very slippery and dangerous, puddles of water. The rooms are clean, very basic, comfy bed. Breakfast was quite standard, we arrived just at opened at 7am and the lack of bread, pastries was not good, would not rebook this hotel and would not recommend it."

"Room was very clean, beds comfy. Only poor thing was the lift situation. One lift was out but we had extended waits for the lift. Waiting 10 minutes at one point."

"The whole first floor (non-smoking) smells of Marijuana. It was so strong that I couldn't walk to or from my room without my infant having a coughing spell. Layout is also very weird, we had to take an elevator up to our floor, then walk all the way down the hall, then down a flight of stairs, to get to our room. If stairs are an issue for you, make sure you book an accessible room."
