We had a great stay. We were warmly welcomed and our room with bathroom was a good size and really clean. The bed was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic and we were really well looked after. Location is great for the sea front, bars, shops and bus and train station. Highly recommended.

This is a great place to stay in Torquay. We were met with a lovely warm welcome from the owners who made us feel very welcome from the start. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the owners couldn't do enough for us and our 1 year old. We will definitely be returning.

I was frankly amazed at the quality of Briarfields immediately I walked through the front door. Everything looks freshly decorated, neutral colours, spotless carpeting... My room (No.8) on the top floor looked like it had been decorated yesterday, a small fridge with fresh milk and a bottle of water, comfortable bed, good quality clock/alarm. The bathroom was spotless.

I couldn't have picked a better guesthouse for my trip to devon with my daughter. The room had en suite bathroom which was very small, but we didn't need anything more. There was WiFi in the room which is handy these days with so many gadgets. The room it's self was clean comfortable. The choice of breakfast was good, we had a cooked breakfast everyday which filled us up for the day. The second time I have stayed here. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food is great- excellent dinner and breakfast. Room good if a little hot. Excellent car parking which is a real asset. This time wasn't October so the Xmas trees weren't up! Will book again when visiting relative.
