Seafarer - Pacific Grove Beach House - Steps to the Water, Incredible Ocean Views

  • Prepare to be mesmerized by the dazzling ocean views from this amazing beach house. One home away from Ocean View Boulevard, it is steps from the water and the coastal recreational trail: turn right to visit the Aquarium and Cannery Row, or head in the other direction to commune with sea lions and sea otters on your way to Lover’s Point Beach.  The living room has a huge TV over an electric fireplace, and the dining area seats six—both have views to die for. The well-equipped kitchen features a professional four-burner gas range and a built-in Viking microwave/convection oven—but there are restaurants galore close by. Stairs lead to the loft/office with a desk and a huge TV (if you can tear yourself away from the very blue horizons). The adjoining master bedroom has a King bed, a dressing room and closet, and a spectacular balcony with—you guessed it—more ocean views. The ensuite master bath has a walk-in shower and a clawfoot tub. Two guest rooms on the first floor with Queen beds share a full bath with a tub/shower, and there's a private backyard with a dining table and barbecue. “Wow!” may be the first word you utter when you enter, and “when can I return?” will likely be the last.  Pacific Grove Transient Use License #0476

Absolutely Spectacular Stay!We had an incredible stay at The Seafarer! The home is absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully appointed with every single amenity you could possibly need to feel right at home. The views of the bay are breathtaking, especially waking up to them from the main bedroom.The location is unbeatable—we loved being able to walk right to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row, and Lovers Point. Having a designated parking space for one car was also a huge plus for the area. We highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again!

The house was cleaner and better than expected. All modern, high end appliances, TV's, music system, speakers throughout the house, and very clean. The views of the bay were spectacular. We once saw a flock of about 50 Brown Pelicans fly along with all the other seabirds. We plan to go back to this same place in the future. Loved it all.

Return Stay

This was the third time that my family has enjoyed this property in the last three years. There is a good reason that we keep coming back. The house is clean and comfortable, the views are stunning and everything we need is within walking distance including coastal strolls, attractions, shopping and restaurants. Beautiful house!

We truly loved our stay at Seafarer. The house was beautiful with lots of thoughtful details and amenities. A perfect location for heading to Monterey Bay Aquarium and the beach at Lovers Point. I loved sitting out on the balcony looking at the ocean! Would happily stay there again.

There were 6 ladies for 3 nights in this delightful residence. We were very pleased with the accommodations, beds were very comfortable and nights peaceful. The decor was very soothing and location perfect. Would recommend this property.

Great stay

We spent a week at Seafarer over Thanksgiving. The house is clean and spacious. The location is unbeatable. We loved being able to step outside and walk along the coast. Or go the other direction to grab coffee at a lovely local cafe.

Weekend In Monterey

The location to beaches, aquarium, cannery row, etc was terrific. This home was very well appointed with kitchen items, bathroom towels and linens. The property manager went out of his way to secure a brand new BBQ for our stay and was always available to answer questions.

This home is everything it claims to be. It is a perfect place to relax comfortably. The local attractions are near by (aquarium, cannery row, beach etc.). We really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it.

The home was lovely and comfortable. The location was perfect --- across the street from the beach and a very short walk to the aquarium and Cannery Row. Views were fabulous. We watched whales breach and spout from the upstairs bedroom. We definitely hope to stay there again.

Top Shelf Property

The location is excellent as the walk along the bluff is 1 minute walk away, Cannery Row/Aquarium is about 10 minute walk, and if you wanted to go to downtown Pacific Grove, it's about 15 minute walk. The house is beautiful with great amenities.

Perfect getaway near Monterey!

Seafarer was the perfect base near Monterey for my husband's birthday celebration. The roomy and comfortable house easily accommodated our daughter and her boyfriend, as well. The upstairs deck afforded a stunning view of the coast and was hard to leave when it was bathed in sunlight. The house's location meant the aquarium and many restaurants were a short walk away. (Highly recommend Wave Street Cafe and The Sardine Factory.) It is also a quick drive to Pebble Beach and Carmel. My only suggestions for further improving this outstanding accommodation is to provide additional glasses and mugs (our group of 4 quickly went through the existing inventory), and replace the "fireplace" with a gas-powered one.

Sisters birthday celebration

The five of us enjoyed the beautiful views and location. The kitchen is remarkable with all the cooking equipment and cookware you would need. There were tvs in every room so everyone could watch what they wanted whenever. The living & dining areas were ample and comfortable. We would love to make this an annual event.

This place is beautiful, just as it shows in the pictures. The views are incredible. It is even better than advertised. So nice and clean, all the amenities you could want. Beautiful property close to everything

The space is stunning, particularly the view from the primary bedroom, and we truly appreciated the proximity to town while being on a quiet side street. The beds were comfortable and the house very well suited to relaxed gathering. My only suggestions might be to have coffee and tea available in the house (keurig machines are ever present these days) and perhaps an inclusion in your binder of policy for the house some local recommendations and reviews of area dining and attractions.

Wonderful property

Seafarer is a beautiful and well crafted home, and sits across the street from the gorgeous seaside of Pacific Grove. Whether you are sitting on the lovely upstairs balcony off the master bedroom, taking your coffee down to a nearby bench along the water, or cooking on the professional grade appliances in the well appointed kitchen (always something we value), you really don't need to stray far from the house to seriously achieve relaxation. The beds were also awesome, and the decor is calming and peaceful. We were absolutely delighted with this property!

Beautiful place next to the ocean

Rental was really nice property in a great location. It was clean. Suggest that they make more towels available. The shampoo and conditioner was watered down. Other VRBOs we’ve rented provided more games, books, cooking utensils/pans. Overall I highly recommend the property.

Great Location

We loved this house! The location is great and just steps from the ocean and a path that is great for walking or biking. We walked into downtown Monterey each morning which was a great way to start the day. The master bedroom/bathroom is really beautiful. Great views and really large. The two main floor bedrooms don't have views but they are nice and clean. One is in need of a mirror but otherwise great. We didn't use the kitchen much but it is a perfect kitchen if you plan on making meals. I would absolutely stay here again.

Falling asleep to ocean waves

We had a wonderful stay here. The few concerns we had were vastly outweighed by the positives. The concerns were mainly that most of the windows don’t have screens, so we had to decide between mosquitos and sounds of the waves (we chose the waves) and some windows we had to keep closed for risk of small children climbing/falling out. We also had to rearrange all of the cute decorations to keep our toddlers from breaking any of them, but I can imagine guests without small kiddos enjoying the decor, which reinforces the ocean theme. The location is fantastic. Wonderful view of the ocean from the primary bedroom. Fine amount of parking. And walking distance to so many places. The bed was comfy, and the whole house encouraged hanging out and relaxing. We hope to get to stay here again, and sooner than later!
