Lovely if brief stay at Asara - nice big comfortable room overlooking the lake. Huge selection at the buffet breakfast. Nice walks through the vineyards with stunning views. We had a very enjoyable meal at Sansibar with delicious gin cocktails. The complimentary wine tasting was great fun too! All staff were welcoming and helpful. Special thanks for Serge for fixing the number plate that had fallen off our hire car!

The hotel had only been open for 5 weeks when we stayed, but we were very impressed with the operation and the facilities available. Very large bed was really comfortable, aircon worked well and the balcony opening out on to a young vineyard was a lovely extra touch. Breakfast on both mornings was great, with lots of options including hot dishes. The gym was well-appointed (by hotel standards), and the sauna was a lovely touch of relaxation during our stay. The property was perfect, quaint but spacious rooms and the rolling hills and pool is spectacular! The staff were amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing little find. The reviews are true and this place really is spectacular. We were blown away with the size of the room which was a little villa with our own garden area. We travelled as a small family and just loved how accommodating this hotel was. I just wished I could have stayed longer!

The views of Boschendal are out of this world! Such an amazing property. The staff are beyond helpful and friendly and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Shuttle bus to the other side was v handy. Highly recommend trying their home cooked meals from the farm shop as well as the horse riding on site! 10/10 experience

Beautiful place to stay very relaxing. It was ideal for where we had to travel to for a wedding.

A perfect country house set amongst a vineyards, with comfort and service levels to match. Holden Manz is a working vineyard and produces some very nice wines; you can try these as part of an organised wine tasting, or with dinner in the very nice restaurant on site. The house itself has very generous and beautifully furnished public areas, as well as a pool area, gardens, an orchard, and of course the vineyard itself. Great breakfast. Large, comfortable rooms with good a/c; two nice pools and beautiful grounds in a great position within walking distance of downtown Paarl but with a secluded feel

Modern, clean, well equipped with spacious rooms. Friendly staff. On the more expensive side though. I chose the hotel because it was closest to a conference venue.

Lovely quiet retreat with fabulous hosts. Pool was very welcome at the end of the day, great size. Amazing selection of teas available. My wife enjoyed her massages very much. Would recommend anytime.
