The hotel had only been open for 5 weeks when we stayed, but we were very impressed with the operation and the facilities available. Very large bed was really comfortable, aircon worked well and the balcony opening out on to a young vineyard was a lovely extra touch. Lovely if brief stay at Asara - nice big comfortable room overlooking the lake. Huge selection at the buffet breakfast. Nice walks through the vineyards with stunning views. We had a very enjoyable meal at Sansibar with delicious gin cocktails. The complimentary wine tasting was great fun too! All staff were welcoming and helpful. Special thanks for Serge for fixing the number plate that had fallen off our hire car!

We had the most incredible stay at Mont Rochelle! We were staying for our honeymoon and it was our first stay in our 2 week trip and now that the 2 weeks is up I can confidently say that we stayed in 4 5* hotels during our stay in Cape Town and Mont Rochelle was by far the best, a league above the rest. Great breakfast. Large, comfortable rooms with good a/c; two nice pools and beautiful grounds in a great position within walking distance of downtown Paarl but with a secluded feel

Amazing little find. The reviews are true and this place really is spectacular. We were blown away with the size of the room which was a little villa with our own garden area. We travelled as a small family and just loved how accommodating this hotel was. I just wished I could have stayed longer!

The staff was very unfriendly but the rooms and bathrooms were fabulous and so was the view,with the vineyards just beyond the veranda.

Very welcoming hotel with great staff who are very helpful and friendly

Big room with many thoughtful features and a great breakfast. The hotel has two pools (one heated) and a fabulous onsite restaurant (fine dining quality). We made use of the free shuttle to ferry us to the wine tram.
