The hotel had only been open for 5 weeks when we stayed, but we were very impressed with the operation and the facilities available. Very large bed was really comfortable, aircon worked well and the balcony opening out on to a young vineyard was a lovely extra touch. Breakfast on both mornings was great, with lots of options including hot dishes. The gym was well-appointed (by hotel standards), and the sauna was a lovely touch of relaxation during our stay. Lovely if brief stay at Asara - nice big comfortable room overlooking the lake. Huge selection at the buffet breakfast. Nice walks through the vineyards with stunning views. We had a very enjoyable meal at Sansibar with delicious gin cocktails. The complimentary wine tasting was great fun too! All staff were welcoming and helpful. Special thanks for Serge for fixing the number plate that had fallen off our hire car!

Amazing little find. The reviews are true and this place really is spectacular. We were blown away with the size of the room which was a little villa with our own garden area. We travelled as a small family and just loved how accommodating this hotel was. I just wished I could have stayed longer!

A perfect country house set amongst a vineyards, with comfort and service levels to match. Holden Manz is a working vineyard and produces some very nice wines; you can try these as part of an organised wine tasting, or with dinner in the very nice restaurant on site.
