"Loud, kids running the corridors until god knows what hours at night. Staff didn’t want anything to do with it. Waited over an hour to be checked in. Key card didn’t work - waited further 40 min to be resolved , room amenities empty , room hot and aircon didn’t work. Don’t recommend. "

"Advise you to checkin before you arrive as the queue was long when we arrived. Cream tea for two was excellent. Room very clean."

"The room was sort of clean but had clearly seen better days. The bathroom was not great. The toilet roll holder had been pulled out of the wall by a previous guest and was just hanging there. The towel rail did not work and was thick with dust, the walls were scuffed and marked for what appeared to be a long time. I like the hotel, have stayed before but they do need to sort out the rooms "

"Staff helpful, old building and that’s why we chose to stay, breakfast was 1st class, large room, massive bed with en-suite. Very warm overnight had to open the window for some fresh air."
