"The staff was great but other than the historical relevance, I found the Hotel underwhelming and the price point unjustified. I found a lack of respect for maintenance. Public bathroom smelled of urine. The lock on the stall door was broken and replaced with a cheap slide lock. I would have expected a higher level of concern for maintaining the integrity of the property. I’ve stayed in nicer hotels, with more amenities, exceptional service and a “Wow factor” that was missing from here.
