My husband and I cannot say enough about the amazing time we had at this property! Janet and Dean were so kind and hospitable and made us comfortable for our entire stay. The cabin and washroom was spotless when we arrived and had all amenities we needed for the week. So many great activities available for families and children. What a beautiful place of paradise, we will be back!
Beautiful lakeside location. Pristine location. Unfortunately had to cut vacation short as my recent spinal fusion surgery prevented easy access to the rest rooms.
An amazing place for rest and relaxation; very clean; feeling welcomed and appreciated; very comfortable and convenient.
Excellent for swimming, boating, fishing, sightseeing, and photography.

We can't wait to return! Running joke at my house is that there's clean, and then there's 'Linda clean'. This place was 'Linda clean'! It had everything we needed and the owners (Janet & Dean), went above and beyond to be sure we were happy guests. It is quite evident that they care about the property and the guests who stay there. Super nice people! Spent a little time with them and it felt like we were with old friends. They are very knowledgeable about local history and were happy to share, and make suggestions on things to do in the area. They provided a day pass for the Park and we enjoyed some hiking. The area is beautiful and a photographers dream. Heavenly sunrise! I was on the dock at 5:15am to catch it, and if I hadn't moved so suddenly, I would have been joined by an otter who was about to hop up before I startled it. Kayaks and canoes (and PFDs) were available onsite with no additional fees, but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use them...this time. Enjoyed a campfire, and then moved down to the 'swim' dock for some stargazing. Very little light pollution, so it was easy to see the milky way and more stars than I knew! I would love to return and stay at the main 'cottage' with the whole family. The only part I didn't like was having to walk to the comfort station at night...because I'm a big chicken with a small bladder, but it wouldn't keep me away! It was glamping with a view. I worry that when word gets out about this place, I won't be able to book
Amazing place and amazing time if you want to escape from all challenges... Tranquil and picturesque sunsets and sunrises, air of forests and lakes, and peace and comfort of the cottage make ever brief vacation perfect.
we enjoyed our stay at Bon Echo cottages. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Loved that we could look out the window at the water.
We absolutely loved staying at this cottage! The location is perfect, with a great view of the lake! The grounds were very well taken care of and the lake was pristine! The proximity to Bon Echo is a big plus! The owners were very friendly and accomodating and we loved being their guests! More importantly, it is a pet-friendly place and our huskies enjoyed the hikes in the area and just lounging on our private patio. And... spending time at the fire pit right by the lake was really nice!

Beautiful location!
We had an amazing time at the cottage! It was super-clean and well-organized, the bed was really comfortable. The view was breathtaking, we loved our little private patio and pick-nick table. The lake is very clean and one can fish or use the canoe or SUP. The location is truly amazing and the hosts super friendly and accomodating! We had a really good and relaxing holiday and we will definitely return!
