"If your only purpose is to go to Universal this might be a perfect hotel for you. You had better have cruise ship experience. Both the room and the bathroom were smaller than our last cruise ship trip. The shower creaked when I stood in it, and the things rocked on the shower shelves as I moved. The shower was clean, the water pressure was excellent, and the products were nice. This room is probably exactly what somebody would expect if they had never been in another hotel in Japan. It is very small, and there was no closet. These rooms are a money grab for Universal. They have a “lounge” in the lobby with complimentary hot dogs (with tickets they give you at checkin) that should just be part of the lounge offerings. The staff at checkin seem to understand it is a cattle call hotel and react with the appropriate enthusiasm. Osaka is amazing, and I highly recommend the aquarium, but I am sure there are better places to stay for the same price point. "

"Nice place to stay and very affordable. Basically a home from home. With small fridge,microwave and hob to cook on with knives,forks,spoons and plates and bowls. Laundry facilities downstairs (washing machines and tumble driers for a very good price too) Very pleased with our stay overall."

"The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms were a decent size but the AC could not keep the room cool at night. The beds were a little more firm than I prefer. Both restaurants served good food. If you are early for check in, they will hold your luggage for you until check in. It's about a 15 minutes walk to Universal Studios or you can take the train that's right across the street. The downsides to this property are that it is NOT tattoo friendly. You will not be able to use the Onsen if you have tattoos and they will not allow you to cover them. Also, the single-ply toilet paper seemed like a cheap choice for such a nice hotel. "

"Overall the hotel was good. everything was clean, location was great. Only thing I would say could use an improvement on is the comfort of the beds, felt a bit lumpy to me."

"Great, comfortable, good size room for 4 adults. (The Deluxe Quadruple room 8th floor) We got the room for really great price too, especially considering it was Easter time in cherry blossom season. Staff were very helpful. Very convenient for universal studios and universal city rail station. Has a Lawsons convenience store in the lower floor. Only slight downsides the entrance shoe area in the room is a bit small for 4 but they could easily extend this into the carpet area a bit. Not the greatest view, but nice at night and can probably book a better view room for a fee. We drink a fair bit of coffee and did have to ask at the amenities desk for refills which was a little inconvenient but as i say there is a Lawsons Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, top of our list of 5 hotels we stayed at, would absolutely recommend. Stay here, you wont be dissappointed at the price point"
