The hotel staff was helpful as well in terms of holding our bags before and after check in/out and arranging a taxi to the airport for us. It’s conveniently located by the train station, walkable to Universal Japan, and a free ferry ride away from the aquarium and Ferris wheel, and it’s between a Lawson’s and 7-11!!! Room was massive and had a dedicated Aircon unit (not the hotel-wide systems a lot of hotels here have). Bath and toilet are in separate rooms. Everything seems pretty clean and comfy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately because it's located so close to the station we had train noise late into the night. The overall condition of the hotel was shabby with many stains on the flooring. Breakfast had lots of variety of both traditional and continental options. Surrounds are not very interesting and there isn’t much else there. We walked / took the free ferry over to the area around the aquarium which we and our kids enjoyed but it does take a while. The hotel is very good and the themed rooms are a bit of fun. One of the 4 single beds in our room was quite noisy and the breakfast options for westerners wasn’t fantastic (although the kids might disagree with this statement as there was ice cream and coke available 😆).
