We found the reception staff very helpful. They were able to give good directions to where we wanted to go. Room was very good. Bathroom a great size.

You get what you pay for.
Surprising cheap hotel at the heart of Osaka. We had the largest room on the floor based on the fire escape instructions, but the room was carpeted and it was FULL of stains. My partner complained that it was musty, although I didn't notice the smell. His allergies were also acting up, likely from the carpet. I loved the separate toilet, sink, and shower/tub rooms. Makes it easy to stay there with another person and still be able to get ready at the same time. The morning that we left, we asked the receptionist to call us a hotel and she basically told us to go outside and get one ourselves lol so service wasn't the best.

Check in had a very nice gentleman working in the lobby. During checkout I waited in the lobby for my friend to come down to checkout from his room and I was told I could not plug in my phone to charge it from the outlet and I was kicked out when I was sitting there waiting. The guy was watching me in the cameras to make sure I didn’t try to plug in my phone.

Good place to stay in namba next to ghost
I stayed in this location because I was in town for night life and it was pretty much next door to the club I goto. It was perfect for that. Nice size shower is big bathroom is separate. Comfortable stay

An Inexpensive Hotel Close to all the Action.
This hotel is a nice balance between near it all and affordable. The bathroom and bathtub are large. Being 6'2 and trying to take a nice hot bath after a long day of walking/shopping and getting lost is usually impossible in most Japanese style hotels (kind of like trying to stuff yourself into one of those metal wash basins), but I found the tub to be sufficient in size (which was nice). The rooms are nice enough, but do show signs of age. They are clean and spacious (again, for a japanese style hotel room). I did like that the toilet had it's own room, some people may get a little confused by the bath/shower setup (do a little googling on this). Non-Review information: For JR Pass holders, the JR Namba station is about 5-6 blocks south of here. You are in the Dotonbori area, so you are about a block and a half north of the start of the river walk area, 2-ish blocks south of America-mura, and about 3-4 blocks south of Shinsaibashi station. Three blocks east is the main drag if you want to do some high-end shopping (Burberry, Prada, etc...), but if you go past that there are a bunch of shopping/food in that area.

The bathroom was big but the bedroom area was so small. There was no room to open our big luggage on the floor and we had to open it on a little table on top of the fridge. The carpet was quite dirty as well considering it is a relatively new hotel. We were given a room right next to the lift and the staircase to the bar upstairs, it got quite noisy sometimes.

The Wall is in a great location with lots of little shops close by and a short walk from night life and the canal. The room was clean but had obviously been smoked in at some point (we had a non smoking room) which was the best but small price to pay for a great location at a decent price

My stay at The wall hotel.
Feels like this hotel is short of staff for the amount of rooms they have. I’ve requested more towels and waited for one hour and no staff appeared with the towels which was quite disappointing. However this hotel is quite good in terms of location and price :)

Fantastic location, although the room could use a wipe down and some upgrading, most notably the carpet/flooring. Clean bed and bathroom facilities. Easy check in, check out.

Simply a budget hotel
Nice hotel for a rest at a reasonable price. Lots of restaurants nearby. No Wi-Fi on the 1st day but got it fixed upon request on the 2nd day. The male staffs are helpful. Sound proof is poor, very noisy when some guests talk nearby. It takes about 30 mins time to get to or from the Namba JR Station.

Good for what it is!
The Wall Hotel is a good hotel for the price and is located in a really unique area full of great boutique shops and eateries. It is located right next to the freeway which may not be ideal if you area a light sleeper. This did not, however, bother us during our stay and the hotel was quiet and clean. I would recommend walking to Orange Street (on the other side of the freeway) for shopping and eating.

New-ish hotel in Amerikamura
The Wall Hotel is a decent place to stay but will only get better as time goes on. It seemed that this hotel was relatively new with some staff who meant very well but just didn't have the experience. Once they get the hang of it'll be an even better place to stay. For example, we had sent our bags from Kyoto to Osaka via takkyubin and when we got to the hotel our bags were sitting in the lobby. Other hotels we had stayed at had put them directly in the room. Furthermore, when we wanted to send our bags back to Tokyo, the staff seemed fairly confused on how to do so even though it's a very common practice in Japan. They did however care very much about our experience and in the end they did figure out how to do it with no problems. The rooms were average sized by Japanese standards and were fairly clean. On our first day they seemed to forget to clean our room. I mentioned to the staff in the lobby and they apologized and made sure it was cleaned the next day. The hotel is located in an area called Amerikamura which translates roughly to Americatown. It is an interesting neighbourhood to say the least. Lots of people seem to just hang out in the area and eat, drink, etc. in public squares. Witnessing the Japanese take on American culture was interesting. Lots of "urban" shops and what not. There was also a Canadian restaurant in the area which was good. It is definitely the most "unique" area of Osaka.

The hotel was well located close to Dotonburi st where all the action was. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area as well. We had a lovely stay - rooms are small but comfortable and suitable for a short stay.

Cozy hotel in the Local district of Osaka
We absolutely loved this hotel. It was very comfortable and cozy. The hotel is right next to a cat cafe and several local bars. We didn't go to the cat cafe but the bars around there were lower priced than the ones right on Dotonobori. There is also a Cabana on the rooftop of the hotel. This hotel was perfect for our Osaka trip.

Nice Hotel, Convenient Stay
Decided to book a trip down in Osaka for a few days, The Wall Hotel looked like it was a great find for an amazing price. Walk from Namba station was extremely close, walked underneath by the subway station so we wouldn't have to walk outdoors for too long since it was kind of cold! Hotel was very close to dotonbori. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful, also spoke decent English. Hotel is a boutique size, only 30 something rooms and a few floors. Elevator and stair access. Hotel lobby was clean and bright, restrooms and laptops for guest use available! Free wifi in lobby and hotel room included with stay. Hotel also let us keep our luggage checked with them before check in and even after check out on our last day. Rooms are quite small, but full size shower/tub and separate toilet. Very nice shiseido amenities included. Great overall stay for our first time in Osaka, will definitely come back again and recommend.
