Sugata is a clean, modern smaller hotel with an amazing coffee shop/restaurant attached. A great breakfast! Great location to walk around to many spots and gives you a more quiet street to escape.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. They made everything much easier for us and were always willing to assist with whatever we needed. The laundry service was also very helpful and convenient during our stay. You can walk to dotonbori and 7 elevens just right the corner ! Everything was great!

If I don’t like a hotel I don’t write a review. I absolutely loved this hotel. It’s perfect for the price. The location in Shinsaibashi cannot be beat. My friend and I loved our stay here. It’s next to three very good train lines as well which was super convenient

Location is great and the hotel is quiet. One of our rooms was dirty when we checked in, but the hotel staff changed our room the next day. Rooms are tiny (as in most of Japanese hotels) and the aircon was loud. But overall helpful staff and decent accommodations- specially given the price. One complaint though - it’s got Marriott branding and even with my platinum status I got no perks, not even water or an offer for upgrade. Staff need better education.

I had a great stay there but they have small rooms, smaller than the others I stayed at but it did the trick. I loved how a water machine was on every floor near the elevators. Also the other amenities such as toothbrush I may have needed was easily accessible to gather daily if needed. I also loved how breakfast was included with the stay. The main thing I didn’t like which I did see someone’s review mentioned it but I booked the hotel anyways was the room could’ve been a bit cleaner. Meaning, the room had grey carpet and it had terribly visible brown stains as well as on the blackout curtains and walls. The room was clean but I feel like it should’ve been shampooed and walls wiped down more. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay, it was nearby other places and the train station but if carpet stains drive you absolutely insane, I wouldn’t recommend you stay.

Place is really accessible. Toilet design can’t be any weirder. Always smell like piss even though I have spray it. Should be the way it designed. Room is tiny. Open the luggage and have no space to move around. Huge plus point cause staff are super helpful and nice.
