Not the nearest spot from umeda area but very reasonable price and good cheap eats around. I understand that staying for more than 2 days might be convenient but i got tired of the bfast selection(dont get me wrong, it was very good and im pretty satisfied).

The location is quite good, close to a subway station. The bed was comfortable and really big as we have chosen the queen room. Unfortunately they don’t have breakfast. The room was a bit dirty and shabby, it is needed some refurbishment.

Lots and lots of different and excellent dining options in the neighborhood. Although you need to be mindful of going out in the evening because Juso has heavy soliciting near the shopping districts. As for the hotel itself, this was a very good hotel for its price. To the point I do not want to make the place too well known. It's also only a short train/bus ride to Umeda/Osaka.

This hotel was great. There is in-unit laundry with free laundry detergents. There is also a public bath that is clean and well-maintained. It is close to a station but it is quite far from the central city of Osaka. The area have a lot of local Japanese restaurants. The room itself is quite small but perfect for a solo traveler.

The room and bed were good but there was this musty smell that never went away for the 5 days I stayed. Even with the air purifier it didn't help. Other than that, the building was nice. Very convenient location with a 2 minute walk to the metro. I would still come back and stay here. Just maybe my room at that time was unfortunate.

Astil is an amazing bargain for what you get. The rooms look like brand new and the amenities and spa (onsen) are over the top. Juso itself reminds me of Japan in the 70's, but it still has everything you need including a shrine. There's at least 5 notable famous food institutions that people come to Juso for. I came in from Shin-Osaka station and have relatives who live near Takarazuka...so Juso is a perfect mid-point that makes going anywhere super convenient. There is only 2 washing machines which makes them high in demand. I was able to wash/dry clothes, which made this another reason to stay. High recommend.

Nice hotel a short walk to the train station and plenty of food and shopping options outside. It is a bit out of the way from the main part of Osaka but you can take the train which is around 10- 15 mins. I liked the hotel facilities and Onsen with the roof bath tubs. The hotel was quiet and I slept well. Negatives, the window was obscured so you couldn't see outside. I am not sure I would have booked this had I have known as it made reading difficult as the lighting was very poor. Also, the sockets were not positioned in a good place as it where you put your pillow. The TV was also positioned at an angle so you couldn't view from the bed. It would have been better if it had been fitted with a tilted bracket. The layout of the room was not great for Japan standards.
