"Stayed here with my best friend as part of a grad celebration trip and loved it. The food is absolutely incredible-- so many options, all of great quality! Was concerned when I found out even the "restaurants" that you need to reserve at are buffet style, but these are truly the best buffets I've ever seen. There are taps of beer, wine, sometimes sangria, water, and soft drinks you can almost always access, and we loved the reusable water bottles they gave us at the start. The bars were great, too. I thought that it would have direct access to a boardwalk to the beach, but you need to walk around the building to reach a small beach and a few blocks to the nearest large one. There's a lot of loud kid-oriented programming from 3:30ish-5, and in the evenings there are often concerts or karaoke (which is a fun time!) until around 10. Couldn't hear the kids stuff from our first floor room but the evening music was definitely loud. Never a huge problem, though. Overall, such a great place to relax and make the most of all-inclusive amenities!!! "

"Professional friendly staff. Welcoming feel. Nice pool and everything spotlessly clean. Great location, short walk from island ferry. Beautiful well maintained grounds. Comfortable beds and pleasant room and balcony. Good wifi. Good bathroom but noisy plumbing emitates high pitched whistle. We are only travelling with carry on cabin bags and storage is limited. No bed side drawers. Wardrobe also has 3 drawers (the only drawers) and a fridge, making it a “half wardrobe” so only hanging space for tops/shirts. No hanging space for dresses and hanging rail is fixed too high unless you are tall. No USB charger points. No kettle. Charge for room safe petty. "

"This hotel is a dream come true. It’s expansive yet it feels like a private compound. Access to the beach and walking paths along the cliffs were great and the views are stunning. Beach side service was unexpected and much appreciated, though you do need to pay to reserve a cabana or chair. All of the pools were lovely, breakfast, lunch and dinner options at the buffet were varied and of high quality. Lima and Uddo were spectacular. We couldn’t lift a finger while there and appreciated everything the staff did to make our stay effortless and comfortable. It’s a good mix of families, couples and friends which keeps the energy light and fun. Everything, including the design is thoughtful and the rooms are bigger than expected. Plenty of towels by the pools, though some pools are more staffed than others. Know that there is one pool that is deliberately not heated, all the others are. No issues with our room other than a weird sewage smell one afternoon that was immediately addressed."

"Visited Four Seasons Vilamoura with my partner over the last week or so but this was actually my 10th time visiting the hotel (though my partner's first!) Four Seasons is an absolutely stunning hotel and, as the title suggests, is a true home away from home without being a cliché. The staff are all so polite and professional from check-in to check-out and everything in between and their English is impeccable. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of hot and cold options, tea, coffee, juices and all the condiments you could want. The pool bar too is great for food and snacks during the day with the option to pay as you go or add it to the room tab to be paid on check-out. We didn't eat evening meals at the hotel and I haven't tended to over the years, no fault of the hotel just prefer to have a change of scenery for the evening and head to the marina which is a 20 minute stroll away or even shorter taxi ride, or even the local Old Village which has a small selection of bars and restaurants. Four Seasons is one of the safest and cleanest hotels I have stayed in, staff are always on hand and rooms are tidied/cleaned every day, there is barrier entry to the hotel requiring a fob you get on your room keys. The rooms are the biggest in any hotel I have stayed at - whether the studios or one-bed apartments (I've not stayed the 2 or 3 beds). They are well equipped with everything you could need (ran out of characters!)"
