"The room was great value for money, I had a huge room and balcony., very soft bed and nice shower. The food was amazing and had great options, the wine on tap was incredible. would love to come back when i come to Portugal again."

"Overall, I had a good stay at Aqua Pedra dos Bicos. The hotel was comfortable, the location worked well for our trip, and the staff I interacted with were generally friendly and professional. The main issue that affected my experience was being contacted twice regarding noise complaints from my room. I fully understood and accepted the first complaint, as we had been on the louder side that evening, apologized, and made a point to keep the noise down afterward. The second complaint was more concerning because I had been away from the hotel for most of that night and was surprised to be told there had been another disturbance from my room. I explained this to Guest Relations, and to their credit, they responded thoughtfully, acknowledged that the source of the noise could not be confirmed after the fact, and apologized for any possible misunderstanding. I appreciated how the hotel ultimately handled the conversation, but being flagged twice made me feel uneasy for much of the remainder of my stay. I found myself worrying about making even a normal amount of noise in the room, which took away from the sense of being able to fully relax. Aside from that experience, I enjoyed the hotel and had a positive stay overall. I would simply encourage the hotel to verify the source of noise complaints in real time whenever possible before attributing them to a particular room."

"The hotel is pleasant, however a 4 star it is not! The rooms are spacious and well equipped, however missing basics like washing up liquid and a sponge, which is usually included in a self catering hotel. The beds are comfortable and it’s quiet at night, so it is a good nights sleep. The pool area is nice, with ample sun beds and towels. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the maintenance guy was great! Issues were dealt with promptly and in a friendly manner. It’s good value for the price, in a nice location and would recommend."

"Beautiful hotel, but in a very busy area. I will say the breakfast was awful. Not to our taste. No change in options from day to day. The views from the Monica collection was spectacular. There is a fabulous restaurant on the beach called the beach cafe that provided romantic, delicious meals in the evening. Overall we had a nice stay"
