"A pleasant apartment, well equipped. In March it receives no sun, and so was rather chilly. There is a pool at the complex and there should be sunbeds, but these were locked in a shed despite requests to the complex management. This was disappointing as it was a lovely sunny week. The apartment is in a good location - walking distance to everything you might need: shops, bars, restaurants, the beach. We would return"

EPIC SANA Algarve Hotel

"The property was so clean and well maintained, we’re talking Four Season hotel level of cleanliness. The staff was good no complaints at all. The beach was absolutely breathtaking! The beaches in that area are known to be some of the most beautiful on the Mediterranean, and that’s so true. Pools were also nice and clean so are the decks and lounge chairs. Only thing is they are a bit cheap with the water. They only provide 2 small bottles per room in the room. At this level a shouldn’t have to ask for a bottle of water it should always be readily available."

"We were a couple on a five night stay in late September 2026. Beautiful resort - impeccably maintained and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included in our stay and it was very good with a huge assortment or food, nicely presented and very fresh. We enjoyed a cappuccino every morning as well. The gym was very large and well equipped. We did not use the spa area. The beach access was super convenient and was lovely. The ocean was much warmer than we were expecting which was a nice surprise. Underground parking was clean, well lit and easy to navigate with a smaller vehicle. Tip - don’t try and hike along the shoreline from the beach to the marina - it’s impassible near the end and pretty steep."

"Pine Cliffs Gardens is a beautiful property. The grounds, gardens, beach and accommodations are lovely, and the resort itself has so much potential. Unfortunately, the restaurant experience was deplorable. The food was consistently poor, the service was unacceptable, and the prices were outrageous for the quality provided. We are happy to pay premium prices when the food and service justify it, but that simply wasn’t the case here. For a resort positioning itself at this level, the restaurants should be one of the highlights, not the biggest disappointment. The difference between the quality of the property and the quality of the dining experience is shocking. Beautiful resort, but the food, service and extremely high restaurant prices significantly impacted our stay. Until the dining experience improves, I could not rate Pine Cliffs Gardens more than 3 out of 5."

"My husband and I spent a part of our honeymoon at Vale Do Lobo. We really enjoyed the accommodations. We had a private apartment with a pool, which was lovely. We enjoyed the on-site restaurants, golf, and the pool area. We even went to the beach one day. The accommodations were great! They provided us with espresso for the Nespresso machine. Gave us a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine. We had everything we could need at the apartment."
