"Away from traffic, beautiful surroundings with partial mountain views, nice amenities. Kitchen, refrigerator and freezer were really nice to have. Bed was super comfortable with soft high-quality sheets. Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy to park and go-out of the underground garage. We stayed in July 2025 and it was warmer than we expected during the day (87F / 31C). No A/C in rooms! but fans really helped. Ask for a room that doesn't face west to have a cooler room. We would stay here again."

"I’ve stayed here multiple times over the past few decades…Haha…I’ve seen this hotel change ownership multiple times, each time the upgrades get better…the room was clean, beds were very comfortable, nice new ac unit, bathrooms are now big enough to actually turn around in, ample parking, close to restaurants, and of course the staff is pretty amazing. Well done…I’ll be back! "

"We stayed at the Outback Mammoth Hotel last June and had a great summer experience. Although it’s known as a ski resort, it was a fantastic base for exploring Mammoth in the warmer months. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. We especially enjoyed the on-site restaurants and the crepe café, which served delicious fresh breakfast crepes for an extra charge. Our only disappointment was that the wine bar, which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel, was rented out for a bachelor party the night we planned to visit. The sommelier kindly offered us a free glass of wine, which we appreciated, but we missed out on the full tasting experience. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend it for both summer and winter travelers! "
