Built in the 1850s out of local limestone with a typical Rutland Colleyweston slate roof, Postbox Cottage has an array of original features. The doorway to the bakery has been preserved, as have the beams of the loft, now forming the bedrooms and bathrooms, and in the lounge the impressive stone wall has been left exposed.
The accommodation is on two floors. On the ground floor there is a spacious lounge and dining area with south and west facing windows. There is a gas fired wood effect stove.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, iron, ironing board, electric kettle and toaster. Double doors lead out onto a secure courtyard complete with table and chairs so that you can enjoy alfresco dining.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one double with en suite bathroom, and a twin room with separate bathroom with bath/shower over. Both rooms have large wardrobes.
