Best Western Deincourt Hotel

"A convenient place to stay for a couple of nights."
The Lounge area is very small and immediately next to the bar, so that if there's a lively group in the bar (which there was) there's nowhere to sit quietly and relax. Your young waiter was lively, attentive, friendly and helpful. The dining room was pleasant and comfortable. Your kitchen staff probably need to be told to smarten up their attention to detail: the Caesar Salad was generous and fresh, but the hard boiled egg which should have been neatly sliced was presented in torn up lumps. Similarly, the very helpful take away breakfast was thrown together: residual water from the hard boiled eggs was in evidence, and the raw mushroom could have been wiped clean of compost. Reception on arrival were very pleasant and informative. A few herbal tea bags in the room would have been in keeping with changing times. The tv switched itself on in the middle of the night which was not great!

"Best hotel I've used in Worksop"
Having had a number of business visits to Worksop over the past year I've tried a few other hotels in the town, but definitely this one is the best. I've seen some mixed reviews, but I couldn't fault it at all.

"Friendly staff"
Our one night stay at the hotel was a pleasure. The rooms were very clean even though a little basic. Our experience in the bar/restaurant was exceptional. The staff were very helpful as I had dietary issues. They were able to provide a lovely meal of a high standard and must admit i longed for the steak and guiness pie my husband opted for

Good experience at this hotel. Although the hotel rooms are a little dated the bathrooms seem to have been updated and are bright and airy.

"Nostalgic visit"
Previously visited hotel 20 years ago and was looking forward to seeing how things had changed. Still a comfortable hotel but not luxurious as it was in its prime. The bedroom was too small for 2 people even though it was classed as a double. They did not have any larger rooms available; pity! The carpet in the room was very soiled/marked and needed changing. However. the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was ok. Good place to stay if you need to be close to the city centre and is within walking distance if you are fit and active.

"Excellent stay"
I was attending a party at the venue and though there may have been opportunities to stay at a cheaper venue. I decided to stay at the Eastwood. The hotel seemed well organised, my room was excellent. The tv was not brilliant, but I was not there to watch it. Food was very good and would recommend the breakfast.

Pocket Guide: Green / Sustainable Hotels in Nottinghamshire

From caving to hot air ballooning, Nottingham is packed with things to do, family attractions, and places to visit, eat or explore. Centrally located in England, just off the M1, 40 miles south of Sheffield and 40 miles north of Leicester, Nottingham makes a great destination for an easy getaway. There’s history to be uncovered and plenty of parks and green spaces to explore, such as Rufford Abbey country park and, just outside Nottingham, the delightful village of Edwinstowe, where (according to legend) Nottinghamshire's most famous son Robin Hood and his sweetheart Maid Marian were married. So why not stay in a sustainable hotel in Nottingham and explore all that this fascinating city has to offer?

    Nottingham by Day

Nottingham has lots to keep you occupied for days on end. Go and see the spectacular Ice Age drawings at Creswell Crags or visit Wollaton Hall, a wonderful Elizabethan mansion. The compact city centre has hundreds of shops and restaurants to discover, plus plenty of museums and galleries. In the 19th Century, Nottingham was at the centre of the lace industry. Nowadays, the Lace Market is a protected heritage area that has some of the city’s best bars and restaurants tucked away down cobbled streets. Nearby there’s also the Galleries of Justice Museum – don’t forget to look up to see ‘County Goal’ misspelled inscribed in stone. Relax in your sustainable hotel in the evening, find out what Nottingham has in store for you by day.

    Nottingham by Night

Nottingham has some fantastic nightlife too. There are over one thousand places to choose from, from dining with cats at The Kitty Café, to organic, sustainably sourced wholefood restaurants serving up the finest local produce. Whatever your palate prefers, you’ll find something to suit you in city centre Nottingham. Go and see the latest stadium touring bands at the Capital FM arena, or take in a show at the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall, a Victorian theatre that has been putting on events for over 140 years. There’s simply so much to see and do in Nottingham once you step outside your sustainable hotel.

    Sustainable Hotels in Nottingham

Stay in a sustainable hotel in Nottingham and you’ll be staying in a hotel that’s modern and sumptuous, but with an environmental bent. Many are Green Flag winners, indicating that they go that extra mile to reduce your carbon footprint while you stay in Nottinghamshire. Green hotels are increasingly popular - rooms are decorated with style and have all the amenities you need to make your stay memorable, such as room service and WiFi. A sustainable hotel stay in buzzing Nottingham is a winning choice.
