Paris is a destination that every person who gets the opportunity to visit should do so without hesitation, as it is not only home to a wide variety of one-of-a-kind artistic and architectural masterpieces, but also houses some of the world’s best hotels, restaurants, cafés, farmers’ markets, bars, and, of course, restaurants. Among its many iconic attractions, like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, the cuisine in Paris is commonly considered to be one of the best in the world, as is the French culinary style, codified by Escoffier that most Michelin-starred chefs now practice
Some of Paris’ most cherished attractions are its many cathedrals and churches, and few are more famous than Notre Dame Cathedral, whether it’s for the Victor Hugo novel it inspired, or the Gothic façade that makes it such a visually stunning building, it is one of Paris' must-see sites. The cathedral’s treasury is especially one to note, as it contains such important Christian relics as the purported Crown of Thorns, a fragment of the True Cross, and one of the Holy Nails.
