"The staff was very kind. The bar/restaurant on site was great- portions giant and tasted great. Everything is a bit dated, but sheets and towels were clean and AC worked; which is all we really cared about at the end of a long day horse showing in a heat wave. For the price I'd say a great find. "

"Small town but to be expected in this area of Michigan. You can tell the owners of this property are taking painstaking efforts to restore this building to its original and beautiful condition. Everything is as original as they could keep it and the decor and atmosphere is beautiful. It was like stepping back in time. "

"We selected this rental primarily because it was near a wedding venue on Wamplers Lake. Everything you could need is supplied as described in the owner's information. There was a lovely yard and canal where we saw a big turtle, rabbits, and even an egret. Inside, it was open and spacious, comfortable, and well supplied. You could really just pack a bag and buy some groceries in Brooklyn and be set for your stay, however, there are some great local eateries we also enjoyed. Eric was a super communicator and a great host. The bottom line is we would return here again because it is a solid area and place to getaway."
