overall, the properties well maintained, and the amenities are great. The only issue I had was that the room smelled bad but they were cleaning the carpets when I left so I’m sure that issue is resolved.

The check-in / check-out staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were okay; both of our rooms had wads of long black hair on the bathroom floors, which is a big ick. Location is very convenient, A/c and exhaust fans in rooms are kind of noisy but tolerable. Would stay again but please vacuum better

Hallway and lobby look updated, rooms are pretty outdated but clean. Lots of rust on fixtures in bathroom, sink had very low water pressure, carpet was a little sticky. Bed was comfy and loved the larger kitchen. Unfortunately on my second night there was a power outage so a bunch of things were down and unusable. Large potholes going into the parking lot.

I have booked twice at different cities and both I cancelled due to horrible sonesta situation . Finally I was ready to give this company another chance and booked just one night in Ann Arbor and wow, what a nice, clean place. Lots of parking. Felt safe and will book there again for our next dance event. Keep up the good work sonesta Ann Arbor! Hopefully other sonestas will do the same

In many ways this was great and exactly what I wanted. The room was very nice, everything was clean, and it wasn't too expensive. I would stay there again. At the same time, don't expect the personal attention you might get at other hotels. The staff were all nice, but mostly not at the desk and doing other things. There's a fridge in the exercise room, but it's not well stocked at all. All of this is fine -- there was nothing objectionable -- but is why I gave it a 4 star rating rather than a 5.

We stayed for just one night while in town for a family event. It was a nice property with lots of space in the room. It would be a good place for a longer stay, with room for a kitchen area, eating or working at the desk, a living room space, and ample bedroom and bathroom spaces. It seems to be a nice refresh of an older property. The bed was comfortable and the staff were nice!

We were in our room only 9 hours total. It was clean, the air conditioning worked well, bed was comfortable. People above us were very heavy walkers apparently trying to get their 10,000 steps in loudly. This was not the fault if the hotel. Just an observation.

The best part of our stay was definitely the location. The hotel is within easy walking distance of a plaza with several good choices for eating, and it’s also conveniently close to downtown. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing and very basic. The air conditioner was extremely loud and didn’t work particularly well, the TV was very old, and, most importantly, the bathtub was not properly cleaned. Overall, while we appreciated the convenient location, the condition and comfort of the room did not meet our expectations. Based on our experience, I don’t think we would choose to stay here again.
